Large property with ample parking, friendly desk staff and regular housekeeping service offered. Heater and air was not consistent but sent maintenance staff to repair promptly. Overall great budget option in the area which is close by many shopping plazas, dining options and family activities.

There is no availability for handicap rooms for fridges. Uncomfortable beds.

Our family of three stayed at Motel 6 in Stanton for three nights while celebrating our daughter’s 3rd birthday at Disneyland. While the location was great—just a 20-minute drive to Disneyland and Knott’s, with plenty of nearby food options and stores like Target and Ralphs—the property itself was disappointing compared to other Motel 6 locations we've stayed at. On the bright side, our housekeeper was wonderful! She refreshed our linens and towels daily, emptied the trash, and even tidied up our daughter's blanket and folded our clothes neatly. However, the motel felt outdated, and cleanliness was an issue. Our room was located near the garbage pick-up area, and we were woken up twice by the trash truck. Plus, the constant noise from maintenance carts rolling by made it hard to relax. Overall, while the convenience was a plus, the property could use some updates and better upkeep.

My biggest complaint is that I reserved a non-smoking room on Expedia but they put us in a smoking room, which I didn't know until I got to the room, smelled the smoke smell, and saw the ash trays. I was then told I could not switch rooms because they are fully booked. They could have switched us to a non smoking room to swap with somebody who hadn't checked in yet except that they didn't have anyone to clean the room we had only walked into for a minute. Very frustrating. They said that by booking through Expedia they don't get any info about it being a non-smoking reservation and that I would have had to call in advance and request that. I honestly didn't even know that motels/hotels in California had smoking rooms anymore. They offered a small discount if we stay, or the option to check out and get a refund but that wasn't an option because everything in the area was fully booked. When I checked out on my last day I asked about the discount they promised and found out I have to haggle with Expedia to get it. Other than that, the room was a "you get what you pay for" kind of thing. No microwave, no mini-fridge, tiny round shower with a shower curtain that sticks to your body, run down furnishings, etc. In the future, I will pay a bit more to not encounter these problems.
