We were so pleased to discover this hotel at the last minute after we abandoned our stay at Le Nordet (avoid). The staff at Hotel Plante were super welcoming and the room was like an oasis. Great bed, a lot of space, excellent bathroom, robes, an excellent view of the town and the marina from our terrace. The only disappointment was the lack of elevator in our building which made the slog of luggage to and from the room kind of a chore. Also the pool was pretty heavily chlorinated (like most indoor hotel pools, I guess). Overall, however, the best hotel experience we have had in Gaspasie.

Check-in was unpleasant. Clerk turned an iPad around and asked me to fill-in my information: I had to input everything, from my name to my address, phone number, e-mail...I booked through Expedia, why didn't they already have all that information on file? It took way longer than it needed to. I had to ask about the pool hours, clerk didn't offer or volunteer any information. He even forgot to give me my driver's license back. I felt like I was bothering him.

Room was clean and quiet. Beautiful view of the bay!

Clean spacious room, friendly staff, free parking and EV charger , was a bit hard to carry my bags up to the second floor , but otherwise I loved the property

We stayed here two nights. The property was clean and conveniently located. The curtains did little to block out the morning sun and bright lights at night. Our first night we had to close our windows because of very loud guests outside in the common areas well after midnight. There was also a small group of middle school aged boys in the pool area without any parental supervision and acting a bit wild on both days of our stay. All this is to say I'm not sure how well the property is supervised. We were checked in by two polite but very young teenagers.

Hôtel et chambre très propres et bien entretenus. Belle vue , piscine intérieure jolie. La chambre suite 2 lits est très grande. Très bel endroit près de tout à Gaspé. Nous y retournerons.

Five stars all the way! Easy check in. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. The room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Laundry facilities were a plus. Enough local eateries to choose from. Tim Horton’s within walking distance. Great water view.

Il n’y a aucune salle à manger. Obligation de manger au restaurant pour les déjeuners comme les soupers. Je fus surprise d’apprendre que depuis la Covid, les hôtels/motels ne font pas les lits ni la salle de bain pendant votre séjour sauf sur demande ! À plus de 220 $/nuit…me semble qu’on pourrait faire mon lit sans demander…

Great location but rooms are not what I expected from a double floor rooms! Sucks!!!

This is an old property with a newer addition. All good but it's a Motel. They do have a nice, enclosed pool that is clean. Overall, a good place to stay and convenient to everything as the town is very small.
