Lovely stay in St Malo. Hotel well located but relatively quiet. A couple of issues concerning noise outside late at night - bottles being dumped in the bin (against the law at that hour) and loud chatting by those dumping the bottles. Not the hotel’s fault bur needs to be kept in mind when choosing a room with a sea view.

Central location and helpful staff. Rooms are a little small and no elevators fir a 3rd floor room. Neither bothered is but good to know for people that can’t climb the 3 stories.

It’s a great location within the walls. The rooms are a good size and well eqipped, the staff very friendly (and speak some English), the parking is limited but there is a car park next door and it isn’t too pricey, and there are many great restaurants and shops nearby. The walls surround you.

The hotel is conveniently located but I specifically chose it because I thought it would be in a quiet street, however this was not the case and street noise - in particular hand trolleys being pulled down the road all night - meant I had two disturbed night's sleep. The thermostat in the room was not linked to the radiator which had its own independent thermostat. However there was no notification of this, hence the first night I opened the window wider and wider while turning the wall thermostat lower and lower, to no avail, as the radiator was stuck on 19 centigrade so keep getting hotter and hotter to compensate. I was unaware of what was happening until the next morning. Quite apart from being uncomfortable it was a real waste of energy, and an extra cost to the hotel. I'm surprised they don't put up signs notifying people to control the radiator at source rather than via the thermostat.

Restaurants are close, just a little noisy with smokers outside the bar and deliveries in the morning. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Boring tourist hotel but otherwise clean and in a good location in the old town. Parking impossible so check whether a space is guaranteed BEFORE booking. We had to park a mile away and get the bus in.

Great place to stay to visit the old town of St Malo. The main inconvenient is that there is a glass recycling container located nearby and people in the neighborhood come to dump their bottles day and night, making noise.

We were upgraded to a larger room as I am currently in a wheelchair. It was large airy and very comfortable with modern furnishings. The hotel was ideally placed for exploring. We managed to park right outside (although parking is very very expensive). We really enjoyed our time here

T.raditional hotel within St Malo city walls. Enormous comfy bed, windows onto the street. Great breakfast buffet. Loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance
