As a single lady travelling alone I have to say to all you ladies out there looking to visit the area ...DO stay here! I felt relaxed & welcomed by all the staff, who at the time of my visit were all female. The food was good pub food, parking alongside & a super room that felt like home from home. I will definitely return anytime I'm in the area.

Food was really pleasant. It sounds judgemental, but upon entering, I was slightly nervous as to what I should expect. But any expectations I had were blown out of the water. Top draw chef’s in the kitchen, polite staff, and even had a chat with a nice fellow attendee of the restaurant. Highly recommend

I have been visiting this Pub regularly now for just under 3 years and I have to say it is Perfect. An absolute 5/5 ✅✅ Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Sunday Lunches are the best. The word ‘Generous’ does not do it justice. I haven’t stayed in the rooms yet but I might have to so that I can try the Full English…..it looks fab.

A nice little pub in a charming village very picturesque, the pub itself is 16th century the service from the staff was excellent. Didn't stay for evening meal, but the breakfast was really good obviously locally sourced. We stayed in the newly refurbished annex called the loft room which was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.
