The property was in walking distance to the main town and facilities. Hospitality was excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was massive and very tasty. On site parking was a bonus.

Always lovely to stay with Mark & Mandy. Great location, warm and wonderful service. Delicious breakfast - if only there were kippers available!!

Nice friendly welcome. Room had large comfy kingsize bed and plenty of teas coffees hot chocolate and biscuits. Great location with free parking. Perfect, nicely cooked breakfast, just what we wanted.

I had such a lovely stay at Silverdale. I had a super cosy room with a double bed (great surprise as I was only 1). My room had a beautiful view of the mountains surround Keswick :) Breakfast was delicious and service was amazing ! Super friendly, attentive and I felt very safe and happy! 10/10 will be back :)

The room was basic,but clean .Host was very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was good and good choice.Had parking space.Just unfortunate that the boiler broke and no heating.Not their fault.Good spot.

Another hugely enjoyable stay at the Silverdale. It's in a perfect location for everything I want to do in Keswick. The hosts are so friendly, always welcoming, and the place is always clean, warm and cosy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I hope to be back soon.

Mark and Mandy were extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault the full English breakfast. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Great hosts, especially good at catering for a Gluten Free diet. There is a small car park too which is a rarity for hotels so close to Keswick town centre

The Silverdale is a great place to stay! The rates are reasonable, the location is perfect and the hot breakfast is very good.

A two-night stay in Keswick to have a break with family. Original plans to go to the theatre were scuppered due to performance cancellation. The Silverdale was fit-for-purpose, no frills accommodation. Perfect location to be able to leave the car alone for the duration. Excellent full breakfast offered that could be tailored. Comfortable lounge area that we could meet in, separately from our rooms. Easy access with front door key. Off-road parking available but not used (it was easier to park on the road as the access was a bit tight.

Home from home, Mark and Mandy make you feel like an old friend, very welcoming and prepare a good hearty breakfast Wholeheartedly recommend this property,great value for money.

Very warm welcome, very hospitable hosts, lovely breakfasts and comfy bed.

My week here was great, I would recommend it to anyone. The accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable, breakfast tasty and well presented, location near Fitz Park, and an easy walk to the centre and the lake. Free parking. On my first day I tripped on a walk and broke a bone near my wrist. The hosts, Mark and Mandy couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. Full marks.
