Our second time here. What a great find down a quiet street in an excellent location not far from st marks. This is a small comfortable hotel with smaller rooms that feels like real venice. Staff is lovely, ac worked great, bed was so comfy. Four levels. There are stairs so know that in advance. Would definitely return.

Lovely room

The room was very nice. Nice furniture. Good shops nearby. Staff was very friendly, esp. Julius and ladies at the front. They gave us easy and quick directions. Next morning we had to leave early, they packed us breakfeast to go, which was very nice. Thanks for making our stay easy. Highly recommend. Thank you SS

Very unique hotel, elegant, comfortable and near Piazza San Marcos.

This hotel is situated about a 5 minute walk from the both the Rialto bridge and San Marco Square. So location is perfect for those two tourist hot spots. Close to many great restaurants and shopping. The hotel check in was excellent with a knowledgeable and polite clerk who gave us directions to the area as well as recommendations for area restaurants for dinner. There is no elevator (lift) at this multi storey hotel, however the staff will assist you with your bags without asking. The room quiet and clean with a beautiful chandelier for lighting, and a decorative headboard. The room was cozy. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and bidet. Your room key is a standard type door key with a heavy brass pendant. The hotel requests when you go out to leave your key at the front desk. The breakfast was exceptional with many breakfast and even lunch type items, a selection of juices, pastries, coffee/espresso, and fresh cut up fruit. This is a charming hotel with lots of character. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very nice, in a good location, about 2 minutes walk to Rialto bridge.

Friendly staff, old fashion style which is normal for the area, clean property and good location, about 20-25 min walk from the metro station

The staff here was amazingly nice. The room very small but typical Europe the price was good as was the breakfast. The location was very good to walk to places, especially Saint Mark Square about a four minute walk. I would definitely stay at this hotel if I came back to Venice. They also helped me get transportation from the airport which is expensive so it was nice that they took care of that for me at a price lower than what my travel agent was able to find.

This is a very nice hotel for those seeking a bit of old world charm, and with minimal luggage. NO ELEVATOR. They are happy to help haul the luggage but you have to haul yourself. Good breakfast; also they can store luggage. Really close to St mark’s square, cathedral, doge’s palace. Near the Rialto water taxi stop. Consider it!

The staff was kind and helpful when we had questions about gondolas and dining. The breakfast was fabulous, with lots of hot and cold breakfast choices. Our room was tiny but functional and clean. Great location -- 5-minute walk from Rialto and 5 minutes in the other direction to St. Mark's Square. It's a boutique hotel in need of renovation; on the other hand, its age and style also has charm.

Great Location, Great Breakfast, Very Quiet

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They made us comfortable despite the strikes that occurred for trains and vapporetto. They gave us such great attention and suggestions to make our travel more enjoyable. I credit Miriam for all her help in making the necessary changes to our itinerary. The location was central to all sites we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this Hotel to all who are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Venice.
