Arrived early (45 minutes) and understandably our rooms were not ready so we sat and relaxed in the hotel bar/restaurant and waited until our scheduled check in time and were told our rooms were now ready. We received our keys and remotes and went to our room. We walked into a room that hadn’t even been touched by anyone except the last guests! We informed front desk staff and were told they would get the room ready for us. Luckily we were able to leave our baggage in another room we had reserved that actually was ready and we came back a few hours later and the room was ready. The website states there is a hot tub which is not true! This was one of the main reasons why we chose to stay there instead of other much nicer hotels in the area that we have previously stayed at. It’s simply a small portion of the pool that resembles a hot tub. The restaurant/bar was nice and the food and selections were reasonably priced and the meals we had were good. Waiters and bartenders were very friendly and efficient with exception of the person who ran the register and she was terrible! I had to insist on running my payment repeatedly and once I showed her how to use their own credit card machine it cleared perfectly. When we returned later that evening for dinner and drinks once again she was unable to process the payment and was very abrupt and argumentative and they had to transfer our bill to the front desk and yes the payment was processed flawlessly on their first attempt.
