The ceiling was leaking and the phone didn’t work to call front office

We were trying to save money and be close to the beach and we did both of those things but I do not recommend this Motel 6. It was not very clean, there were bugs in our room and do not expect any extras such as a hair dryer, coffee pot in the room, a working stove, shampoo, soap, none of the things you get in other places. The staff was super friendly which was a plus. The beds are not comfortable at all and if you get a kitchenette room expecting any kind of dishes, coffee pot, dish soap, any of the amenities that you might think would come with a kitchenette room, you had better head to Walmart before you get there and buy those things because they won't be in the room.

No ac in hall the elevator did not work or ice machine in second floor, saw roaches in hall on second floor staff friendly but there were no towels when asked said they were being washed but location was perfect

The staff was excellent!! Wonderful people, always so polite and helpful whenever we needed things. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. That said the property itself didn't inspire safety. I sat outside drinking my morning coffee and watched a family pack their things out the door labeled for the fire emergency exit, clearly it's been disconnected. Also (this may be a strange complaint) no cameras anywhere that I could see. Not the hallways, not the stairs, no place so if something happens to you well....

Mrs. Wendy/ Winnie I’m not sure how to spell her name but she is always nice and friendly when i stay here. She goes over and beyond for me. I love to go when she’s there.

Close to our event

we had a hard time getting towels, the lighting was a little uncomfortable, they put a family above us with little kids that woke us up at 6 am, we found specs of dirt in the ice from the ice machine a couple times. The staff was very nice, they even gave us a free night, great location!

Nice hotel for the prices, we ended up with a smoking room but it was still very clean, love that we got to stay across from and walk to the beach. Although maybe put a vending machine or 2 on each floor, staying on the 3rd floor and going down to the lobby was just inconvenient. Nice staff that we came into contact with.

Did not get to stay there I had my reservation set for almost a year and as soon as I get there they say that they called me and left me a voicemail stating a couple things to get there by 3:00 p.m. I never got that call or a voicemail I would have got there by 3:00 p.m. but traffic was backed up so I got there almost an hour late. Try to check in and they say they canceled my rooms and I had a total of five. This was a big event that we had planned for over a year to come to ending up having to find another hotel due to trying to charge over the price rates then what I originally reserved for. The attendant was kind of rude and say that she can help me no type of way. My rate was set at $170 Friday night and Saturday night stay I reservated and then canceled my rooms then they state I had to pay $495 for the weekend. I don't know how can they cancel your rooms but hotel.com still has my rooms being reservated with no issues. I really don't understand and I will get in contact with somebody about this situation.

Terrible service..we told to go inside the hotel and we had a curfew?! Could not even be in the parking lot? I mean the hotel security Guard threatened me and the people staying with me they were going to kick us out if we didnt go inside to our rooms and stay quiet? All we were doing was sitting outside talking enjoying the night zero music we were playing and just talking..definitely will never be back ever! Dont stay there if your trying to stay with firends!

The room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Location was great for the beach. Would definitely recommend.
