Deluxe room, no hot water as boiler was turned off, banging water pipes, erratic lights, worn out threads showing towels, rock hard king bed. Friendly staff tried their best. Fireplace was needed, ask for more wood. A one and done property, never again, sorry. Fix the flickering lamps, erratic WiFi, provide towels not rags, put a pad on the bed, have staff turn on boiler for clients with reservations as they arrive at night.

Take this advise: Do not book this hotel. They are overbooking their hotel, don´t pay the fees to the hotel search engines. It was the worst experience. I book and travel 30 to 50 nights are year with Expedia.com. Expedia.com can surely proff it. The hotel then put us into two different hotels. These hotels had lower rates and were lower in quality. Last but not least, we were not helped be Expedia.com to receive the balance back nor the whole money (which should have been the case). This hotel should be immediately removed from Expedia.com

We had a Junior suite which was cheaper to book online than at the hotel. Nice room with jacuzzi which had seen better days so was noisy and not very pleasant. Fireplace was nice and took off the hill at night and comfortable bed. Downside was it was a little noisy at night next to a road and frustratingly the toilet lid would not stay up which wasn't very nice when one was sat down. Not sure what happened to breakfast on the Sunday morning but it was on the next morning.

Very clean, simple hotel with tons of history! It's not the prettiest, but it's clean and has all you need.

A beautiful old building of character with pleasant courtyard gardens. However, this is by far more of a museum than a hotel. Our room was cold and uncomfortable and despite a number of requests, we had no hot water. We had booked two nights here on-line but left after one night to move to a more comfortable hotel in the centre. We lost what we had already paid for the second night.

We loved our stay at Na Bolom! This was our second trip to San Cristobal within five years, and having visited Casa Museo Na Bolom last time and having discovered that it was also a hotel, we booked our stay here this time. Our room was deep in the beautiful garden; it was clean and beautifuly decorated. The fireplace was re-stocked with wood every day, and we had a lovely fire to keep us warm during cool nights. The staff was friendly and accomodating, and there is always plenty to do without leaving the compound. Most importantly, the grounds of Na Bolom are quiet and restful, which was important to us after the day of exploring. Na Bolom is about 10 minutes walk from the center of town, but it is a nice walk, and if necessary, the taxis are inexpensive. Overall, our stay here exceeded our expectations and we'll definitely come back again.
