This property has no A/C. It was extremely hot. Also it is adjacent to a very loud nightclub that was blasting heavy bass well after midnight. Photos of the room were completely fake.

The staff was great but the property is a bit old and shows wear in ways not super obvious on the photos. Great location like ten feet away from the beach. Beautiful scenery from the room directly. Just a bit old.

Friendly staff, the noisiest three days ever and no air conditioning, nice walking distance to other favorite neighborhoods, once the club noise stopped the homeless yelling all night took over, if we had air conditioning the windows wouldn’t have to be open.

Clean and on the beach

Room was clean and good location but that was the only plus. 1) 4 full size room windows were right along the sidewalk. People would look into the room using window tint as a mirror. 2) crappy free standing AC only cooled one side of the room 3) because AC had poor outside vent, you could smell people smoking right outside the window 4) LOUD most of the day and night

Ocen view i great the rest is bad. The bed is squicking on every move. Fan is noisy, if you open windows boms are screaming under windows whole night

Sink back filled with nasty water I called at 5 am they said maintenance would be in at ten somewhere around noon after I went and found him. He didn’t even know about our room we had to take a cup and keep emptying water into shower to keep as much as we could from overflowing they had plumber come he finally got fixed around 2 said he is always there for same issue. We spent a whole day of our vacation trying to keep it from flooding and they just didn’t seem to care!

Clean Nice No. Ac

Location is everything.. you are steps from the Venice Beach Boardwalk and the Ocean..my room was clean and spacious although there was a smell at first which is probably because it’s an older building once I opened windows it was fine .. there is no air conditioning which is fine because you don’t need it ..the ocean breeze and a provided fan kept temperature comfortable.. there are 2 restaurants/bars on either side of property and they give you earplugs for the noise but you won’t need them ..it doesn’t get too loud and they close by 9 and 10 pm.. this is a no frills hotel but the property was nicely renovated and the personnel was friendly.. for the price and location I would definitely recommend.. Santa Monica Pier is about a 35 minute walk and LAX was about a 25 minute ride with Lyft

Even with a partial view of the ocean we were still able to have a great view of the ocean out of both big windows. The noise level of the restaurant just below us was a little loud but didn’t bother us too much. They did offer earplugs on the nightstand. Great place. Everything you need for a great stay.

It was right next to the beach.

I have a mixed review. On one hand, the price and location are absolutely perfect. On the other hand, no air conditioning except for the first floor is beyond annoying. The restaurant next door was so noisy it was hard to keep the windows open. Oh yeah, on Thursday they had a punk band playing right below our window. The staff was frequently away, ok, I mean the lone person working the little booth masquerading as a check-in counter. The room was ok to not bad with a good shower and nice beach view. I would not recommend for families though, primarily due to the lack of space, storage, air and amenities. For a solo traveler or youngsters looking for the "hostel" vibe it's perfect. But again, the price was very good and the location in Venice is perfect...

Sunce we walked into the lobby, elevator, stairs, inside the room all smelled really awful! The place was surrounded by homeless and not a safe place to go by the beach for a walk especially when it was dark. No parking for the hotel, we had to park way far from the hotel and walked all the way back to the hotel. It was a noisy place and we heard all homeless or drunk people yelling or singing in the midnight till 3:00AM It was just a place to sleep under a roof. Even we avoided to take shower because we found it very smelly and disgusting.

Terrible service. I had a room booked at Air Venice through Expedia. I called at 10:30p to confirm that I could arrive at 11pm. There was no parking and there were homeless people heckling outside. I was unable to park my vehicle (a camper van) in the vicinity and would have had to walk very far through bad areas to walk into the hotel. No one answered after 4 calls to direct me where to park. They refused a refund the day even for subsequent night stays. Bad neighborhoods, terrible/no customer service. Expedia also refused to back me up and took their lies. They will likely comment that this is not true (they lied in my Google review and said they provided assistance)… further pointing out that the management is terrible. Expedia won’t post this because it’s a scathing review of both the property and Expedia

Convinent is the only thing. Limited staff. Almost no staff at the desk. One staff sent me to the wrong floor. She didn't answer the phone when I called 2 x. I had to go down looking for her. The windows are locked, not able to open for rest air. The bathroom is very small, no space on the counter for personal items.

Great for the price. Spacious room and conveniently located right on Venice's boardwalk.

The ocean view was beautiful as it described. The location was excellent. But the room had a strange smell that we had to keep the window open and the fan on. The toilet ball lock valve was broken. Those seem like not unknown issues as a “ maintenance guy” was trying to enter our room “ without knocking the door” just before the check out time as he thought we had gone.

Terrible.

The oceanfront studio I paid for was different from the one I was given. The photo had an extra couch; it was larger. Judging by the windows in the photo, it was on the top floor, but they gave me a small one on the second floor.
