The staff was very friendly and helpful

Overpriced. Rooms very small. No cleaning service when asked twice. Breakfast awful and no where to sit. Do not stay here.

Excellent place with clean rooms and easy access to the beach. Very close to the ferries to Machinac Island.

Our stay here was amazing. The view from our room of the Mackinaw Bridge and Lake Huron were incredible. Staff was wonderful. They were friendly, available, and helpful. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay again.

The view was excellent, the grounds and room were well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was your standard fair for hotels. There isn’t an elevator at this property, which is becoming more important as we get older. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I think the website description needs to emphasize that upstairs rooms are walkup with no elevators. Also the bedroom needs blackout curtains like the living room. To much light gets thru day and night. Night has the outside lights showing all night, daylight comes thru the blinds and with early light, it wakes you up.

Great motel! Loved the location right on the beach with good view of the bridge. Fire pits every night and free smores kits were a great perk! Also had cookies at check-in. Rooms were spacious with great views! The trolley for the ferry even comes to the motel to pick you up! Overall, a great stay!

The rooms were clean and perfect for my needs. I loved how they had the Fire pits by the water lit at night. It was chilly but it was perfect. It was a beautiful setting. The staff were awesome.

The stay at the Clearwater Lakeshore was very enjoyable. This resort sits right on the lake with a good view of the Mackinac Bridge in a distance. Although it was way too cold to use the kayaks, it was very tempting. Each night a staff pedson filled the multiple fire rings with wood, lit them and came around offering forks and all that was needed for S'mores. Very nice. The hot breakfast was good. And although the dining space was crowded, it was still a value added feature. Had the weather been warm, we would've eaten outdoors.

Check-in started promptly at 3:00 pm, which we thought was quite odd as we are frequent travelers and have never been told we couldn’t go to our room or explore the property (we traveled 7 hours and arrived a little less than an hour early). However, everything else was great! The cleanliness of the rooms, location, complimentary breakfast, and the s'more kits by the fire! Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again.

Right on the lake and nice beach area was visible and right outside our balcony. Chairs to sit in were plentiful and the nightly fires were a nice touch! Breakfast was served in a cramped area, both the serving and seating area. But the bagels, yogurt and make your own waffles were nice, the eggs and coffee weren't too tasty. A nice, clean, affordable place to stay.

The staff was friendly. The beds were super comfortable. The room was clean. The motel was on a sandy beach. The fire pits lit at night with the smore kits was delightful. I will come back again.

Breakfast is good. Enjoyed the nightly fires. The upkeep isn’t what it used to be! We have come to this place off and on for our trips over the last almost 6 years. Three years ago we booked last minute and were put in this super tiny room. Thought it was because of last minute booking but this last time we booked plenty in advance and we were put in that exact same tiny room!! When you open the door it hits the bed it is that small. Something has changed and I will probably look elsewhere next time.

The staff was so kind and attentive! Would stay again just because of their service and attention to detail!
