Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Food was great. We had booked a family room for me, my partner and 2 kids but found the room a bit small. Rooms were clean but the only issue we had was that our sheets weren't changed, usually this wouldn't have bothered me as we only stayed 2 nights but due to heavy duvets my partner had been sweating the night before and had to get into a damp bed on the second night

We loved the hotel and the staff. Everything was very nice and we had a delicious dinner in the bar. The bed however was very uncomfortable and breakfast was just okay. Overall we still had a nice stay.

I must have had a bad room, leaky shower (dripped all night), dodgy curtain that wouldn't close and not a good mattress. Fair price although I was disappointed and wouldn't go back

I paid $114 for the room and saw a checkout receipt for another customer that was for $50, Internet was awful, had to sit in the hall to get connected

Met Christine at reception, very pleasant and very helpful. First time at this family hotel, very well run, excellent breakfast. About 2 miles on the south side of Drogheda, on the right hand side. Very good parking availability. Now that I have found this hotel, immaculately clean, in all areas, I was very impressed. It is a small hotel, I think about 16 rooms- most definitely will be back, and highly recommend it.

Very convenient for my visit to Drogheda. Access to a bus route from Dublin , and to the town of Drogheda, if you do not have transport. Food options very good throughout the day.

We stopped at the Glenside after a day or touring the sites at Trim and Newgrange. We were very pleased. The staff was welcoming, the food was excellent and the housekeeping was fine. The parking was free and plentiful. The only negative was that the bed was quite a bit softer than we're used to. However, if was fine for a stopover. This is not a new building, so if you're looking for something akin to central Dublin (at 4 times the price), you won't be happy here. However, after a tiring day, it's a great place to stop, have a fine meal and a pint or two, and spend a restful night. The hotel itself is charming. The corridor has a series of historical black and white photographs taken by a very good local photographer. The dining room and reception area contained wonderful landscape photographs that are available for sale. In keeping with the photographic motif, the dining room is called Sepia, and contains antique photography equipment. The hotel is a short drive from the Dublin airport. You can spend your last day in Ireland touring the sites at Newgrange, spending the night at Glenside, and driving to the airport in the morning.

Final night of a coach and rental car tour before flight from Dublin. Booked because of location (out of town but reasonable driving distance to airport), price, full breakfast, and favorable reviews and photos. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had very comfortable bedding, and the cooked to order breakfast was excellent. The room could use some upgrades: entry had a light weight door with a weak lock, a crack/small hole in bathroom sink, limited soundproofing (though everything very quiet by bedtime), and a lingering odor from cleaning (opened window awhile to help it dissipate). Overall, the hotel worked out very well for a single night.
