The breakfast had a large selection of Japanese and continental items. Although there was a bit of a wait to accommodate their many guests, their system was very organized. The rooms are a little outdated, but overall very comfortable.

Staffs are excellent. Hotel provides transportation to and from city. Shops are close by. View of Sakurajima is priceless. Onsen is so relaxing after a day out.

Great view of Sakurajima active volcanic island. Handy bus shuttle service to and from the hotel/ railway station. Excellent buffet restaurant food. Service and staff were excellent. Only small criticism would be that the decor is quite dated but the positives far outweigh this.

Great view of the volcano, nice Onsen and breakfast. Near the ferries, but long blocks if walking.

Excellent location with great views of Sakurajima

Very good value, especially the view from the Hot spa overlooking Sakurashima.

We had a room on high floor facing Sakurajima! It's amazing! Breakfast was excellent! Shopping malls and restaurants just across the street. Staff was friendly. Special thanks to Haong! He's super and always offered help!

They have a great spa but if you have tattoos they will not allow you to go to the spa

Perfect hotel with magnificient view of the Sakurajima volcano and bay. - Our room was very spacious with two airconds, great beddings, bright clean bathroom, good amenities - Breakfast was great and nicely presented. - Free shuttle bus to the chuo line. - Staff and services were top notch, probably one of the best we have come across. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This was our 2nd stay at Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel..says it all. Wonderful staff..great breakfast..great onsen. Thanks to all the staff, especially Geoffroy. Hope to come back.

The panoramic bathing and the views from my room. Superb.

I booked with half board option with dinner and breakfast. My room was a bit oudated but it was clean and nice. The buffet breakfast and dinner had plenty of choices, and both were great. The hotel had other restaurants too so you dont have to eat their buffet if you dont want. The onsen was also great with a view of the volcano. The free shuttle was also great. I really enjoyed my two night stay here.

중앙역과 덴몬칸에서 호탤까지 무료 셔틀 있어서 잘 사용했습니다. 화산 바라보면서 호텔 온천하는것 아주 좋았습니다. Half board 로 아침과 저녁 부페 먹었는데 충분히 가치가 있었던거 같습니다. 전반적으로 가성비 짱이고 나름 저렴하게 2-3일 호캉스하기 아주 좋습니다. 호텔시설도 전반적으로 훌륭한데 조금 낡아보이는 감이 없지 않습니다

Location and view were wonderful. Breakfast buffet was so many choices and delicious. Hot tub steam sauna with Sakura volcano view were unforgettable. Hotel stuff were very nice and kind. I ‘d like to come back and stay again. Thank you.

Whilst the hotel is a little dated it was clean and the staff very helpful. A good base hotel for exploring the local area and taking a trip to Yakushima via the local ferry a couple km's away.

A great stay and a great breakfast

Loved everything about this hotel. Great view of volcano from our room, attentive staff and the Japanese Spa was awesome.

The Hotspring was pretty cool. The water was warm and it had an amazing view outside of the window. Also, it was very relaxing. The rooms were small but overall, the room was nice. In the seating area, it was so relaxing, and enjoyable. The service was a bit too good. The butler didn't even let us push the cart ourselves and when we tried, he'd say : Let me push the cart, or, I'm pushing the cart. Stay back" or something like that. I really appreciate the service, but they should at least let us push the cart ourselves sometimes. I don't understand Japanese 'cause I am from a different place, but I sorta understand. I loved the hotel a LOT mainly, because this is the place that my parents lived in about 20 years ago or 15. The Chapel was cool and nice too! Thanks for your cooperation.
