Great location, huge rooms, clean, balcony room was a bonus

5 of us stayed across 2 rooms for the night. From 12pm to after 5am there was a party occurring across the hallway from us. Loud voices, banging on walls & doors, music playing, people coming and going for hours on end from this one room. We did not actually get to sleep at all. Unfortunately there was no one to contact, no one appeared to help or shut down this party. At one stage I opened the door to see what was going on, and I could see into the room where the party was occurring, jam packed with people. The next morning before we left, we heard multiple other guests complaining, all stating the same thing. I have never experienced anything like this in my life, at a hotel. Upon checking out, the receptionist was aware and offered an apology, we understood there was most likely nothing she could do for us, however, I believe that every guest staying in that hallway should be offered a partial refund, at least. What made us irritated, is that a lot of us guest affected, we’re changing hotels for the next night as it was not a choice to go through that again the next night, but the guests who did this, were allowed to sleep in and continue their stay. They should have been woken up, and made to leave. They also left a ridiculous mess in the public amenities areas. Absolutely disgusting and we will unfortunately not be staying here again, as we overheard that this has happened with other guests on numerous occasions. Apparently they have a “banned” guest list.

Great location in centre of town, close to shopping centre, Maccas (for those that need it) and off street parking. Food was very good at in-house Bistro.

Have stayed here before a few years ago, and the room I was in looked like there had been a nice recent upgrade. Bathroom in particular was spacious, clean and modern. The room itself was clean and much better than the last time I stayed a few years ago. The pub downstairs has also had some upgrades. The restaurant looks great and the sports bars has had an upgrade. The most conveniently located accommodation in Atherton, facing Main Street. Very reasonable prices. Dinner was nice. Plenty of parking available. Impressed with the changes. Definitely stay again.

Very central location, staff were pleasant and the meal was a good pub meal. Room was clean and reasonably priced.

Great value for money. Bed was super comfortable and the room and bathroom very spacious, but the skylight!!! There is a blind there but no way to pull it down therefore light streamed in all night and we were woken at daylight. Staff very helpful and friendly. Apart from the skylight it was a really pleasant stay.

Clean, conveniantly located and good service. Definatly stay here again.

Extremely noisy residents on the first night. Staff were amazing, evicted that resident and moved us to a quieter positioned room. Unfortunately spoilt by really noisy residents which is a shame as we have stayed here many times. But yelling and carrying on by SES workers until 2am isn’t great for a good nights sleep. Staff were very apologetic and to be fair there’s not much they can do after the fact.

Amazing value for a pub hotel room. Modern and clean and we were in room 18 which was very quiet.

Refurbished and clean rooms, good beds and central location

Always an enjoyable place to stay. Great bed, great shower and great food.

Nightcap at Atherton Hotel was fantastic, the room was really spacious, clean and very well presented and had the most comfortable mattress. The Hotel menu was great, our meals were beautiful and the customer service was brilliant. Situated on the main street, very convenient to everything. Would definitely stay again when we next travel.

Big rooms. Big bathroom. Awesome bed. Great size tv. Nice cold air con. Happy to see bottled water in the fridge. Wifi didnt work in the room i was in. ( didnt bother me ) shower was a bit mouldy on the tiles.
