Overnight stay for flight the next day. Close to Airport. Quiet. Good breakfast.

It was good honestly speaking. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. His name started with C he was on night shift that day

Limited transportation

Perfect for a short stay. Didn’t understand why I had to buy drinking water though. Also, there was no phone in the room for quick access to the front desk.

We liked the speedy check in. No buckets for ice for the rooms. Had to run downstairs every time I wanted to put ice in my glass

Affordable and clean rooms close to the airport for long layovers. Friendly staff, rooms were clean, air conditioning unit was a little loud when it was running.

No room was available even with email confirmation by Expedia. I got sent to another Road Lodge 30 minutes drive away, after driving 600km to reach this hotel from Durban. Then the other Road Lodge charged me again despite that no charge promise by them. I had never seen anything like this bad. I would like to demand my money back. To my fellow travelers, AVOID Road Lodge at all cost!

Good points. Clean safe and good value Bad points. Bad smell from the drains. Air con is a unit from the 80’s and as loud as a rock band all night. The rooms have been re modelled sensible. But the air cone unit was missed. Limited tv channels

Bed not that comfortable, consider a mattress with hotel specifications / more form

Very efficient and friendly staff lodge was clean secure parking available located close to Edenvale and minutes away from O R Tambo comfy bed

I had no problem with my stay except for the hotel had no change for the vending machine which was the only thing you could get snacks or beverages from besides leaving the hotel.

Stay was pleasant, reception staff friendly and supportive. Shuttle service from and to airport on-time and well rated by me.

Good Value, Breakfast not quite as good as usual. Room spotless.
