Lovely hotel with lovely staff, only one small thing, the coffee with breakfast isn’t the best. Possibly could be improved with a coffee machine offering cappuccino etc. otherwise wonderful as always

Would have been useful to know that major refurbishment was affecting the hotel & perhaps a sign directing people to the temporary entrance….didn’t affect us unduly as we literally just needed a bed for the night.

Great stay, VERY comfy bed, EXCELLENT FOOD ESPECIALLY the breakfast.

Me and my partner stayed here last weekend for 2 nights when we checked in we were greeted by Dan who is an amazing young man and should be definitely promoted to management , we were early but he checked to see if our room was ready for us, we went to the bar for lunch and he went to the kitchen to see what they didn’t have on menu to let us know, he was extremely friendly and was up for the laugh. That evening we ate in the restaurant followed by a few drinks in the bar, we were served by the manager bijay who was also very friendly and chatty, the breakfast was lovely everyday and staff were amazing , we will 1000% return here again in future.

Lovely hotel set in wonderful grounds very peaceful

A lovely property set in rural Bedfordshire. I arrived and checked in with ease and the staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming. Went to the bar, had food and drink and all was excellent tasting, and served in a good time. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All in all, a very lovely stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast served from 7am, but nothing out of ready until atleast 7.30am, not good when you need at 7am to be away early Waitress then takes order from group of 6 who were last in. Room was freezing and no way to turn heating up

I booked this for my parents, they thought it was excellent value, a grand looking hotel that was clean and comfortable with a very tasty good value breakfast.

Room was cold when we arrived but after going out for dinner it was very warm. No controls to change heat in the room. Noisy compressor or something outside window which seemed to go on and off all night. Nice looking hotel, lovely grand hallway. Decent breakfast, bed was rather small for such a large room.

Lovely period hotel on the outskirts of Bedford. Good size bedroom and bathroom with all the amenities needed. Lovely bar area and the breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely stay again when in the area
