An old traditional hotel with good staff, beer, food and setting. Some parts show rheir age but it mainly adds to the traditional feel of a popular hotel. The breakfast was one of the highlights.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at The Globe, Topsham. From start to finish, everything was excellent — comfortable rooms, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and great attention to detail. The location is perfect, and the staff made the experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. I’d happily return and highly recommend it. 5/5 on all fronts.

All very good, one minor complaint which didn't worry us but I notified staff. I must have left some crumbs on the tea making table which attracted ants.

Not bad. Topsham is a lovely village with great restaurants and spots to view the river. The room was fine but quite a bit of noise from a busy bar on a Saturday night

Had a lovely stay at The Globe while in Topsham for the evening. The room was lovely and cosy, and although we didn't eat in the pub we did have a couple of drinks and it was a very nice lively place. Would stay again.

Excellent stay

The Globe is perfectly located in the middle of town within walking distance to shops and waterfront. They offered a great breakfast and dinner menu alongside a cozy pub atmosphere. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was perfectly clean and restocked when we came back every day! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was Amazing!

Further attention needs to given to the fabric of the room and surroundings. We stayed in room 4. The carpet was worn and in need of replacement and some of the wood skirting board in the bathroom was rotten. In addition as the window was open I could see the wood on the ledge outside was also badly rotten and in need of replacement. On a positive note it was a hot evening and the Dyson fan provided worked well. Given a room rate in the order of £150 a night without breakfast these items need to addressed .

Food was wonderful, room was spacious.

Staff were excellent to a fault. Accommodation was excellent; lovely shower with Elemis products!! Breakfast was awesome!!
