Excellent breakfast. The actual property hasn’t been updated in a while, but it’s kind of cool in a retro sort of way. Loss of dark cherry and oak furniture in the room along with a nice leather easy chair.

Heidi – a true gem of this property! The service was excellent, especially thanks to the sweet lady Heidi, who was so wonderful. The room was clean and offered a picturesque view of the village. Just a three-minute walk brought us to the amazing fjord. We loved our stay and would gladly come back again. Thank you, Hidi!

We have been traveling all over Norway and this was the nicest room yet. One issue was that the TV on the wall cannot pull out that you could see it from the bed. They tried but whoever designed it wasn’t that bright. The breakfast was OK and it bothers me when they keep running out of Items on the buffet. For example, eggs. I did like that. They did have decaf here. The elevator is fascinating. The room is not that quiet from the outside so if there is a party going on, you will hear it.

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of Sognadal. It is very close to the ferry wharf and bus station. There are several good dining options close by. Breakfast was very good and the staff most helpful. The only thing they could improve, is to have additional pillows in the room.

Clean and well located hotel. Everything as advertised.

Check in was easy. The gentleman at check in was very nice and helped us out with parking and charging our electric car. Hotel is quaint and old-timey. Room is clean and has pot for boiling water with tea/coffee.

Liked the large room and comfortable chairs. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The young lady in reception was very nice and went out of her way to help us figure out where to pay for parking.

Beautiful room. Parking is a bit of a hassle. There is no public parking so you have to pay between 8 and 5. The room was great and the breakfast was wonderful

Loved the classic interior of this hotel. Good service, Receptionist at the front desk to answer questions and provide human contact. Comfortable beds and proper tablecloths on the dining tables. Lovely.
