Great location. Easy check in. Dekat hotel ada masjid buat sholat Jumat, jalan kaki sekitar 10 menit. Amenities bebas ambil di lobby. Kamar & kamar mandi standar hotel umum Jepang. Kasur & bantal agak keras. Depan hotel persis ada Sevel. Dekat sama 2 stasiun, Otsuka & Shin-Otsuka Station. Kalau jalan kaki ke Shin-Otsuka, bisa ngelewati Soror Coffee yang kopinya enak sama Maruetsu, market lokal yang bisa buat tempat beli jajan. Overall hotelnya oke, but nothing special.

Nice place to stay. Clean. Near the hotel there are many convenience stores and restaurants to choose from. Travel from Otsuka Station is about 500 meters or take the tram to a single station. Walk about 100 meters if from Ikebukuro Station about 850 meters.

Small room, right for 2 people, complete with water heater, small refrigerator and microwave for food. If you want to cook, you can order a room with a kitchen. The cheapest hotel with a private bathroom that I got. Close to JR Yamanote Line Otsuka Station, walk 8 minutes. If you are lazy you can take the Arakawa toden tram to the station one 50 meter from the hotel, in front of the hotel there are seven eleven, there is no hotel cleaning service. Exchange towels yourself at receptionis, dispose of your own trash. But that doesn't matter to me.

I simply choose this hotel because it's cheap and its a hotel not a ho(s)tel where I have to share my room with a stranger. turned out, it better than my expectation lol~~. the room is clean, you can take as much as amenities that you want in the lobby. the room has it all, like a studio apartment (stove, fridge, microwave). if you wanna wash your clothes, they have a laundry room in the lobby. but still, it's far from the station. In Tokyo generally, you have to choose a hotel with a maximum of 450 m from the subway station (trust me). this hotel is far.. unless you ride a tram (yes, the one and only remaining tram in Tokyo). since I'm a cheapskate, I would rather walk lol~~ I don't buy a JR pass, but for you who have a JR pass, you might consider this hotel, it's closer to go to JR station than to subway.

I was here with family for 4 nights, the room is so small. But I feel comfort here and also the room is new I like it. Pillow’s the best! The staff is very warm, which I like it. Around 500m from JR Line Yamamote (correct me if I’m wrong) but it was a great stays at this hotel!

Small hotel with friendly service. No room cleaning, no microwave, very helpful staff. Location in a quiet area, but easy access. Mukohara tram station (Toden Arakawa line) just steps, connecting Otsuka Station (Yamanote line) with the Higashi Ikebukuro metro station (Yurakucho line). Shin Otsuka Station (Marunouchi line) is also easy to reach. Convenience store close by. To Sunshine City 15 minutes walk.

Despite the small area occupied, this hotel can manage space so well that we as guests felt very comfortable. Everything was neat and very clean, when I said clean I mean really really clean, because this is Japan. Mystays hotel also provided us with a lot of electronic appliances, from microwave, fridge, hob, kettle, ac, air-purifier, hair-dryer, vacuum-cleaner, and TV. Receptionists do speak English. It's also situated near Ikebukuro station and Shin-Otsuka station, like 10-20min walk near. Overall, this is a nice place to stay if you plan to be in Tokyo with low to moderate budget. I myself would come back to stay if visit Tokyo again.

Check in & check out process is easy and fast. Location-wise, it's accessible by train (15-20 mins of walking to Otsuka train station), or 3 mins walking to the Mukohara tram station and then taking Tokyo Sakura Tram to Otsuka train station (JPY 170, 5 mins ride). The room has decent amenities, and more like an apartment than a hotel room with the mini kitchen, microwave, and even vacuum cleaner. Laundry coin is available on the 2nd floor near the receptionist. Cleanliness definitely should be improved. It smells dusty and unpleasant (like a wet towel, uh!). Please keep in mind that this is an old hotel, so don't expect the bathroom to be fancy or sophisticated just like what Japan is famous for! Lol.
