The property is a view into historical India. The rooms were large and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous and so great to have breakfast with bird song in the background and seeing peacocks walking by and monkeys skipping across the top of the wall.

Very welcoming family hotel, set in a beautiful garden where we could have breakfast or dinner. Helpful and nice staff, with good recommendations for taxis and shopping. Really happy with choice and will certainly recommend.

Mid 20th century Indian mansion charm, with a lot of marble, an extremely pleasant and peaceful back garden with pool, friendly service from all the staff, terrific response to any issue, and a friendly owner who speaks the Queen's English. A bed, breakfast and optional dinner guesthouse. Nothing contemporary about it other than good wifi and flat screen TVs. I booked an executive suite, although I wouldn't call it a suite since there was no separated space. I did get a balcony though. Only downside was it was difficult to enjoy the garden as it is just too hot in May (not the hotels fault, obviously). That resulted in an interesting problem. I've stayed in many places where there was no hot water. I've never stayed in a place where there was no cold water. I guess the water in the tank gets pretty warm when it 45C outside. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.

The Megh Niwas is a delightful stay, offering comfort, ease, and simple elegance in a family run hotel. It is set back off a busy road close to the Pink City, (giving quick access to transportation),in a beautiful, well tended, private garden, (giving a restful escape). The rooms overlooking the pool are quiet of street noise. The service is wonderful, attentive without hovering, thoughtful and timely. The front desk staff and owners are friendly, knowledgeable and available, helping with train reservations, Uber rides, and useful local information. The dining room serves tasty meals, buffet or by menu choices, at tables ready inside the dining room or outside on the patio. It was a great place from which to explore Jaipur.

This is a lovely and comfortable hotel. Room was clean and spacious with good wifi. Beautiful area outside by the pool with a bar. Well located in a quiet part of town half-way between the train station and the old city.

i checked into this hotel after spending one night in Radisson in Agra, so it did need some adjustments. :) As other reviewers pointed out, this is a well run hotel in a historical building, completed with a garden and swimming pool. I met the famous Benji and I rocked the swing chair with him, although he was so comfortable that he didn't even bother to look at me. lol. The owner was really nice to let me draw some cash out using my credit card, which helped tremendously during this crazy cash crunch period. The air con/heating didn't work in my room but they put a heater so it worked well for me. Make no mistake this is a 3 star, the facilities are minimal, looked a bit bare for me, and I wished their breakfast could offer more items.

This place is heaven on earth! Ms. Sing helped us so much. The hotel is so welcoming & beautiful. The food was great. Wonderful buffet breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Other guests were friendly & helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean, larage & had everything we wanted, including a tub, a/c & a beautiful pool. Oh,& there was Bennie the dog. It was wonderful to pet a dog. He was so sweet. I would love to come to India again just to stay at this hotel. Highly recommend! Wonderful! The hotel is much bigger than the pictures show.
