The hotel was not what expected from looking at the photos on hotels.com. The photos must have been from a room that was recently decorated, nothing like the room we were given. The room was in the attic up extremely steep stairs (which we did expect), when we entered the room the windows were wide open, the reason for which came apparent after the first shower. Water ran out of the shower room into the bedroom, the drains stunk and you can see visible rot on the wooden windows. The steam took a very long time to dissipate. This highlighted other visible signs of damp. Really disappointed considering the cost of the room for 2 nights.

This hotel is awful. The pictures look nothing like the room. No elevator and you have to walk up the steepest stairs. Awful experience. Don’t stay here

I loved the 3rd floor room, which I called the penthouse! Not for everyone especially if they’re disabled or inebriated but I thought it was perfect!

just went for couple nights. if youre slim you can get to the floors otherwise they are steep and narrow

Morning staff was engaged and good, afternoon staff seemed disinterested in her work. Room was ok. We were on the back side of the building so room was quiet. Very steep spiral stairs to navigate with luggage so be prepared. We were there the night of Kings Day so very busy everywhere and I am unable to judge area because of this.

Me and my husband stayed for the weekend. In a good, busy area accessible to all local attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff in a no-frills (but also no-hassle) property near the Leidseplein, minutes by foot from great queer, coffeeshop, and museum must-sees.

As I am disabled and find moving around hard most of the time, the accommodation was inappropriate for my needs. To access the rooms u had to climb nothing but winding staircases which would have been unsafe for ordinary people.

Our second time staying here and it was just as lovely as the first visit a year ago. The staff are all welcoming and helpful. Location A !

Location was good, easy to walk anywhere we needed. Staff were friendly. There was the previous tenants toothpaste in the sink and paper in the toilet, which gave us an uneasy feeling, as well as issues with the lights, very damp bathroom etc. Overall, it was a convenient location but not the best stay.

Great short stay

We were disappointed in the staff’s friendliness and customer service. Rarely did the desk clerks acknowledge our entrance or exit. The hotel is small and you walk right into the front desk but the staff would often not even look up from their phones. Several issues in the room with broken light switch as well as a lack of storage. No drawers to speak of. Disappointed given the cost.
