The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The only problem that we encountered during our 3 nights stay was the air conditioned, not that cool. And also the water that comes out from the faucet and shower is not clear.

the hotel is in downtown and near of the beach, bars, and can describe island's life. we were very pleased to stay here for 3 nights and enjoyed our experiences in El Nido. amazing! The minus one is their electricity. sometimes the town will be off for their electricity in the afternoon. make sure you already tried the tour at that hour hehe

Nightmare!!!!! We stayed overnight and I truly regret I choose this hotel over nearby hotel. I would suggest not to book on this hotel if your going to El Nido. I got 3 rooms for us (Family outing) and all rooms is very untidy. Their room smells bad, their pillow smells awful (parang panis na banig), their rest room not clean (urine scattered on the floor and in the toilet bowl) yaiks! Their towel smells bad, its like someone used it already. Towels need to change because its already overused. Their staff is not accommodating and friendly, but manong guard is okay, he help us bring our bags on the second and third floor with a smile even its 12:30am 😊 Front desk, crew, etc. they can’t even smile. We checked out early the next day for an island hopping and we said we will get back to take a bath and change clothes but unfortunately they let us take a bath and change clothes outside of the hotel. When the other hotel crew saw us they ask us why we are changing and taking a bath outside hotel? I said they don’t let us in because we didn’t tell them that we were returning. What? All our luggage is on them and they think that we will not come back after the tour? What the h**k?! I ask other hotel if they allow their guest to change and take a bath after the tour, they said yes because its part of their service. Poor service, poor customer service, poor cleanliness, poor consideration. My rate is 1 star only

The room will accommodate your needs, you will be provided with soap and shampoo. I am a pwd and they changed my room from third floor to second floor. From the third floor hotel balcony you can see the pride of El Nido, it's lime stone cliffs and the beach. The boat that will take you to your tour is just a stone throw away from the hotel. And when you return from your adventure you'd be back inside your room in no time to bath and change to dry clothes. The restaurants, convenience store is just a few steps from the hotel. Very convenient.

The room was full of mosquitoes and lighting is so dim. Also, there were loud staff roaming around during night time.

I understand that it was a budget hotel but we’ve expected more that it was in the photos. The aircon wasn’t centralized at all (does not reach the other end of the room) and the bathroom doorknob was faulty (one person from our group got stuck inside). On the other note, it is minutes away from the beach area of El Nido where the tour boats dock and restaurants so it is indeed a value for money in terms of location.

Worth every peso for a nice, clean and friendly staff hotel. Very near to the shore and establishments so you don’t need to ride public transportation anymore because it’s near to everything. Did I say unlimited free coffee and tea? Oh yes! They even clean our room while island hopping. Thank you Garnet Hotel for a wonderful experience!
