Lovely hotel, very picturesque. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. My only negative was the cost of food and wine. We had a lovely meal the first night but it’s very expensive, especially the wine which was good but very overpriced. For our second night we ate near Broadway for a third of the cost.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor. The staff was so lovely, the room was always clean, and the food…unbelievable! The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Such friendly and hospitable staff. Always accommodating. Rooms were cozy and clean. The grounds are beautiful. Can't wait to visit again.

It was a cute enough estate, however for the price, we would definitely not stay again. We were kind of made to feel unwelcome, and the room was very small. It was beautifully decorated though. But when you’re paying to stay in a manor, you expect to have full and comfortable use of the common areas for relaxation etc. the fireplaces weren’t lit even though it was chilly each night and when we asked we were always told “maybe tomorrow night”. The food was outrageously expensive. We did have a multi course meal one night that was expensive, but was absolutely

Beautiful surroundings but not much to do on site. Very quiet and secluded. Standard of food and service very good Rooms however look and feel dated and require a refresh or at least better maintenance

Overall our stay was enjoyable and the staff were very courteous at all times. Our room was comfortable and clean but there were areas, particularly in the bar area which were very dusty, in particularly under the table where the menus sat and the adjacent chair. There is not really a true bar area where we might have congregated with other guests and during the time we did sit there the “barman” only appeared briefly once! Breakfast was great but didn’t experience an evening meal as the menu had no appeal

A beautiful hotel in an historic English manor. Luxury and tranquility combined with a 5 star restaurant make this a special experience.

Buckland is always a gem. Definitely recommend the dinner there. Will come back again for sure.

From the moment we arrived, our countryside escape felt like a dream. Nestled in peaceful surroundings, the manor exuded timeless charm and quiet luxury. The staff were truly exceptional—attentive, warm, and always one step ahead of our needs, making the entire experience seamless. To top it off, we were treated to uninterrupted sunshine, which made exploring the grounds and relaxing outdoors even more magical. Every detail, from the rooms to the service, was flawless. A perfect stay in every sense.
