Lovely hotel - good food in fine dining restaurant - wine list a bit limited if you like decent dry white wine

We enjoyed another wonderful stay at The Bath Priory Hotel. Our stay was to celebrate a special occasion (my birthday/our wedding anniversary). As it was a celebration, they very kindly upgraded our room which was amazing with fabulous views of the garden. All of the staff were very friendly and courteous, and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. The Spa is a super facility and we both enjoyed experiencing the pool, steam room and sauna. I would highly recommend this hotel. We love it so much we are looking to return in the next few months.

Lovely period property with sizeable gardens and grounds! We were upgraded to a premier deluxe room which was a pleasant surprise. Service in the brasserie restaurant was slow given there were only a couple of tables occupied.

The spa was lovely and my treatment excellent. Dillon on reception was super helpful and George in the bar made us great Margaritas 😊

Easy parking

We had a wonderful time at the priory the staff were very attentive and responded very promptly to our requests (which were numerous as we have an 11pm the old baby). The quality of the room service food was exceptional. Would definitely stay again

Something shattered a window in our room first day of our stay. While people came to look at it nothing was done to fix it nor was any recompense offered for having a broken window with wind rushing through it for three days. Unprofessional. Staff was lackadaisical for such a small restaurant. Food was excellent. The music in the dining room was superb.

The room was lovely but because of the ceiling height the radiators was not strong enough to heat the bedroom I thing the single glazed windows did not help with the draft coming in through the windows and having the bed so close to the window did not help the radiator was on full and working but to small secondary glazing would not go amiss it this listed property

The hotel welcome here was outstanding. I stupidly arrived having booked the wrong date and the reception staff couldn’t do enough to help me sort it out. The rooms are so cosy and I really look forward to coming here again. The staff here understand hospitality. Outstanding and thank you for looking after us!

We had the best weekend away (without our kids). Perfect hotel for us - lots of character, attentive service, with luxury feel. Even with the bad weather we enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay

The dinner was very disappointing; it took forever for only 3-course dinner. The service was not up to their price.

My daughter and I had a fabulous two night stay there. We loved the gardens, the room was immaculate and the spa was perfect!

Lovely property about a 30 minute walk to the center of Bath. Dining room was closed for dinner during our stay but we ate lunch in the Pantry which was excellent, and the breakfasts were delicious too. Nice walk to the city center where there is lots to do and many fine and casual restaurants.

Rooms were really dated, no air conditioning, floors were really creaky everytime you walked. Didn't have enough robes - I had to walk to the pool wearing a kids robe!! Didn't refill any toiletries, which meant I was wearing a soggy shower cap.

It was all I would ask from a luxury hotel.
