Excellent location in the town. Great staff. Couldn't fault our stay.

Room was very comfortable and large. Difficult to find but the staff were amazing. It is in the centre of town so park your car and walk everywhere. Lots of bars and restaurants everywhere and dont forget the markets which was open on Friday. Highly recommend this hotel. Only one thing the bar is open from 3pm but there are plenty of bars nearby.

Everything from lovely. A boutique type of hotel. A small pool which was lovely considering it was 33 degrees. Not really enough sunbeds but done their best considering the size of place. Lovely calming place to be and staff were great. Room was lovely with bathrobes/slippers. Super large bed and very comfortable. Couldnt have asked to change anything and would definitely come back

Matelas inconfortable, on ressent les ressorts, fermeté très dure. Literie de piètre qualité pour un hôtel de luxe. Drap et édredon bas gamme. Le personnel de l’entretien ménager est venu dans la chambre quand il était indiqué: ne pas entrer. Deux fois dans la même journée. A fouillé dans mes sacs de soins personnels. N’a pas changé les serviettes et vider les poubelles … quand est entré dans la chambre sans consentement. Qu’est-ce qu’il est venu faire? Avis émis au majordome de l’hôtel. Air climatisé non fonctionnel car ce n’est pas la saison même s’il fait 25-28 degré.

Location, atmosphere, room & staff excellent. Only minor point that the aircon did not work. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but could have done with the room being cooler to sleep. Would stay again. Nick

Location and staff

We really loved this hotel, every single member of the staff were so nice and professional, the room had a good feeling to it and the spa era has a superb sauna. We would only stay here when back in the city.

An oasis of class and tranquility in the heart of old La Rochelle, complete with a spacious lobby, swimming pool, parking, and attached restaurant. Courteous and well informed staff. We could not quite figure out the AC, fortunately the weather was perfect at night. Driving into the hotel takes getting used to typing in the code to open the road barrier, but that’s the price of calm.

The room was quite comfortable and the staff were all welcoming and lovely. Two issues: the pool was not very clean (perhaps this was a fluke, but it was full of leaves and even some hair) and the breakfast was fine but felt overpriced at 34 euros each. Can’t beat the location or the quiet, though!

Liked the area the hotel was located in, nice and quiet, hotel entrance and reception area was very welcoming and looked lovely

Once navigated the bollards to access the hotel (a quick phone call) all was plain sailing. Great check in, wonderful view from room, pool was quiet, easy 10-15 min walk to harbour and restaurants.

It was very nice, excepl from a bad smell coming from the drains in the shower.
