We did not like this hotel at all. There was a lot of noise as the hotel did not have AC so we had to leave the window open. The room was very dirty and small. We do not recommend this hotel.

Comfortable room, unfortunately on loud road which cannot be helped. Spacious bathroom. Large bed. Receptionist did try and get us to pay again but eventually accepted we had paid. Did not have the breakfast so cannot comment. Conveniently near several restaurants and large supermarket.

Bathroom was a little tight with the sink in the way of the toilet.

For a budget hotel in france the breakfast was a good standard.

Hotel was clean and fresh. Next door to diners, so very easy. Also very close to major routes out of Cherbourg.

Great value for the price, very convenient amenities, and dining options. Breakfast was good. The staff was accommodating.

Hoyel was good value for money, good rooms, good breakfast. Our only problem was trying to book in when reception was unmanned. Very complicated and card reader failed when we finally got auto check in to work. Fortunately the receptionist arrive and book the rest if my party on.

Very reasonable price for the room. The breakfast was very nice and it was great to have free parking especially as we had motorbikes.

Property close to hippodrome, limited No.4 bus service due to Easter holidays, but got me there and back to the ferry. All as i was expecting from the hotel but reception not attended so need to gain a passcode from the machine outside of the building. Digits on keypad need pressing hard as didnt work first few attempts

Could not get the payment to go through st self checkin. Rung the helpline numerous times with little assistance. Kept saying try again. Another family arrived and the same happened to them. Got into room after a hour, which did not look like the picture on the website. Then manager had to come to our room to take payment. Very poor service. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

The wonderful lady managing reception & breakfast single handed deserves a special mention - she was very kind and helpful and nothing was to much trouble.

Bed was comfy, breakfast was a little underwhelming

Its a roadside hotel outside of the city so if you want to be close to walkable entertainment this is the wrong place. It gets the overflow from busy weekends. It needs to be painted. The outside could throw you off when arriving however the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Close to ferry port. Could do with a better sign that can be seen as sat back takes you straight past and stops in the main road past the turning.

Cheap and cheerful. The room was somewhat basic and felt like a motel but we liked that the children slept 'upstairs ' and the breakfast was pretty good.

This was a surprise, this B&B was a lot better than similar hotel chains. A good bathroom, breakfast included cooked eggs and bacon. Multiple usable power sockets. This will now be my hotel chain of choice.

Clean , good value hotel. No receiption when we arrived in the evening you take your room code from a terminal. Loads of free parking and comfortable sleep.

Unfortunately the room was on the 2nd. floor and my wife is disabled. There are no lifts. Could not lock the door. Breakfast was good.

Check in and accommodation was very good - room a little warm but for a quick stop over was perfectly adequate and handy - Have had breakfast here before and it was good also - this time we just continued our journey
