We booked family room, and it was just enough to fit 2 adults, 1 youth and 1 kid. I don’t mind the small room because i’m used to it. What i don’t like was that we were asked to pay extra charge for 150 HKD with the reason as cleaning service fee. It wasn’t stated before in the search, only stated in the hotel voucher after you paid the transaction (mind you, i’m a meticulous person so i knew). Fine i paid it and get it done. What made me so disappointed was that what happened the day after tomorrow. Wi-fi was not able to connect, room was not cleaned (so much for paying the said cleaning service fee). I complained to the lady sitting in the front desk, she said she’ll send someone to fix it. And so we went out and came back in the evening only to find the wi-fi still wasn’t working. I asked again and she said, maybe the problem was my phone broken down. Geez, it wasn’t only my phone, but my 2 phones (iphone and tablet), my son’s phone, my hubby’s 2 phones and my daughter’s phone. All not able to connect, so was it my phone broken? So, i let the matter go cos it’s tiring to argue with someone who in the first place did not care at all about my problem. Only after the third day of my staying that i found out accidentally that the wi-fi only works in front of my room, it happened when i was browsing through my photos standing in front my room when i saw the wi-fi sign connected and i was so happy thinking it may finally be fixed. Then i stepped into my room and the connection disappeared again. In the end, after me, hubby and my son tried it again and again, we concluded, the wi-fi connection could not reach in our room. Only until in front of our room. And so we spent our 4 days stay without wi-fi in the room or like my son l, just playing online games while sitting down in front of our door room, get tired and went in to sleep. And oh, the room was not made at all, not a single day till we checked out.
