We are a family of four and had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel and all the staff were so lovely and friendly to us. A special mention to David who was our server at breakfast time, he was great fun and so friendly to us. The 2 pools were fabulous and well maintained and all rooms and areas in the hotel are beautiful. The spa is out of this world!! The breakfast was also great with a fabulous selection. In general the hotel and grounds are beautiful. However, some minor things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars were; the general upkeep of the building, as the roof and railings are getting dated and could do with being cleaned and/or painted to freshen up the building. We arrived 15 minutes before check-in time so appreciated we would have to maybe wait for our rooms, however we ended up having to wait over an hour, which wasn’t ideal. The location around the hotel is not great, it is a bit run down and no facilities. However, we had a cat so this wasn’t a big issue but something to bear in mind. The biggest issue for us was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms.. in Sicily.. in summer.. we were here for 4 nights and I don’t think slept one of them!

A very relaxing honeymoon stay, everyone working at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. I loved the pool and the music being played by it and the largw lounging beds around the pool. Our hot tub was wonderful and the cleaners did a great job. Theres also a free shuttle into Oritigia.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Wellness & Spa Hotel Siracusa - Principe di Fitalia in Sicily, and we must say, it was an incredible experience. The entire staff was absolutely excellent, providing five-star service day and night. We would like to extend a special thanks to Davide, Ghian, Santino, Gimmy, Simona, Gioraia, Maria Teresa and Andrea (sorry if we got the spelling wrong) for their amazing service and attention to detail. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, we felt genuinely welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a wellness center, offering a range of amenities and services that promote relaxation and well-being. One of the highlights of our stay was the contemporary and elegant design of the hotel and surroundings. Our spacious room was beautifully furnished and the outside hot tub and sauna was a special treat. Hot tub under the stars was marvelous. The indoor spa and pool was truly incredible. And the large outdoor pool area, complete with food and beverage service, provided a peaceful and comfortable environment to enjoy the warm sunshine. It was so nice waking up to the sound of birds vs traffic and yet if you want to do your tourist things their shuttle into Siracuse proper was so convenient. The hotel's cuisine was superb with a menu for everyone. Outdoor and indoor dining options that included a lovely view of the surroundings. Overall, we highly recommend The Wellness & Spa

Overall we loved this luxurious and tranquil spa resort. The facilities were amazing, with our own terrace hot tub, access to the fabulous spa area and beach club. We knew from other reviews that the hotel was remote, but didn’t anticipate it being a problem as we had a car for outings during the day and we assumed we’d mostly eat at the hotel at night. However, although the food we ate there was delicious, the lunch and dinner menus were incredibly limited, especially for the vegan and non seafood eating members of our party. It meant we had to drive into Ortigia, a 15 minute drive away, five of the seven nights we stayed to eat out, which detracted from what was otherwise a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We noticed we weren’t alone and very few guests were dining at the hotel each night, which was a real shame. Although there was a shuttle, the only evening option was to go out at 6.30pm and return at 10pm, which didn’t work for us as we tend to eat later and return later in the evening. It’s not the first time we’ve stayed in a remote hotel but the first time we haven’t had enough dining options to eat there. Having said all of that, the breakfasts were fabulous and DID include good vegan options, including porridge with soy milk. It’s a gorgeous resort so if you’re thinking of going, I’d just recommend you check out their menus first and consider whether you’d eat there or need to dine out.

This was an amazing and restful place to stay. The staff were excellent and made us feel very special. VIP access to the local beach club, bikes to ride, and convenient to historical Syracuse was a bonus. I would stay here again.

Our second stay at this hotel and truly lovely. Fantastic staff who make this hotel what it is. Brilliantly situated for the restaurants of Ortigia where you are spoilt for choice. You’ll struggle to do better if you are in the area.

This is probably the best hotel my husband and I have ever stayed. I have written many reviews and never have I ever had the pleasure to write such a glowing compliment about a place we have stayed . We spent only one night here, but we have been overwhelmed by the hospitality of the hotel staff . We were greeted by Giuseppe at the front desk who upgraded us to a suite and very kind. The room had the view of the front garden and swimming pool- it felt serene. The bathroom had great selection of toiletries and the shower was very comfortable. We went to the spa which is honestly spectacular . We took the hammam treatment and Paulo did a great job . He informed us that he has been working in this spa for over 10 years and really takes care of the spa like it’s his own . Then we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were blown away by the hospitality of the chef’s team and Santoni our server. Every dish was meticulously prepared and they really took care of us with no compromise of service and flavour. The stuffed ravioli was a taste sensatio. The breakfast was yet another spectacular event. The hot eggs and pastries were exquisite and Jimmy our server was kind and attentive and took initiative really look after us. Isobella at the reception was lovely .The thing we took away from staying here 1 night is that the staff love their job and it is because of this dedication to attention & professionalism in every tiny detail that makes this the best hotel we have ever stayed.

Great hotel in a nice quiet location. All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The outdoor pool had plenty of beds and loungers and it never felt crowded. The indoor pool and spa were nice to use when the weather turned. The food in the restaurant was great tasting and plentiful. All in all a great place to stay and visit the local area. Would definitely return.

A beautiful and tranquil resort just outside of Siracusa and the old town of Ortigia. The facilities including the gym and swimming pool is fantastic. The town is a 20 minute car ride away but there was a free shuttle provided by the hotel. The timing of the shuttles meant that you only really got to spend 2 hours in the town which was a bit of a rush to eat a meal and explore. Alternatively it meant spending too long a period in the town especially during a afternoon siesta where the town would be eerily quiet. The local beach (Fly Lido) is only 5 minute drive and again a free shuttle is provided on demand. However, although a lovely local family run beach bar, the beach was not as elegant compared to others e.g. Fontane Bianche (although this is €60 return taxi). The cost of eating at the hotel restaurant and purchasing drinks was extremely expensive and this was the hotels major downfall. However, this did encourage us to explore more of the city and experience many of its beautiful restaurants that it has to offer.

This hotel is fantastic, I can see why the reviews are so good. A fantastically quiet location with excellent facilities but the defining selling point of this hotel are the staff who are without exception absolutely superb. We generally ate out in Ortigia which has a really good range of restaurants (mostly recommended by the hotel team) and the mini bus into town in the evening is a great feature. Breakfast is lovely and has everything you could hope for. So relaxing, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

A quiet clean and secluded property with attentive staff and large comfortable rooms. For July which is normally a busy month everywhere we had no problem accessing the property’s cabanas and at no point felt rushed or hemmed in by other guests. A small negative is that some of the staffs English could be a little better as confusion did occur on a few occasions.
