Pros: pleasant rooms, nice pool area, activities, snacks or meals almost always available, across from the dive shop, beachy area across the street, quiet enjoyment without excessively rowdy guests or tourists. Good to have a spa on site, a coffee spot, shop with pharmacy options on site as well. Walkable to shopping depending on individual distance preferences. Planned activities can be nice. Cons: cigarette smell a bit prevalent from others here and there, not always a restful night sleep, food often plain to my tastes and tables do not include salt/pepper seasoning. Did not like the added step of cutting off the inclusive wristband at the end (just not for me- I kept the wristband). Odd request for a written note on why I was checking out early. Overall a rather nice place to visit short term; I especially enjoyed the beachy area, bike tour, fire show, and would be pleased to return to the area for a longer stay. Room for improvement, but pleasant as is.

The food was just okay and it wasn’t always available. No WiFi was available in our room which wasn’t far from the lobby. The TV in the room was the size of a computer monitor. And since we couldn’t get WiFi in the room, we were forced to hotspot to watch streaming services. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

Overall resort quality was good. Staff were professional. Recommendation: more water filling stations. Snorkeling off resort was amazing. (octopus, stingrays, lion fish, urchins, sea stars, needle fish, tons of tropical fish.) Food was always good with a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. No shortage of chairs.

I've stayed here twice and might visit again. It's a solid value, with decent, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a large swimming pool with a hot tub, great ocean access and an in-house dive-shop. The location is excellent, and a short walk to the village of San Miguel. The resort has been smartly situated, with two halves connected by a convenient, brightly lit, tiled passageway. The hotel rooms are on the land side, wrapped around a large swimming pool with plenty of places to lounge and relax, with rooms featuring views of the pool and gardens — some with partial sea views. To reach the sea side of the complex, you can either walk across the street, or through the passageway that tunnels under it. The sea side of the resort is compact, with a very large open-air restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a view that is all ocean, and multiple places to access the water for boating, diving, snorkeling, and swimming. Half of the ocean frontage is taken up by a very nice sandy beach area dotted with palm trees, hammocks, lounge chairs, and a bar. The dive shop is sandwiched in between the beach and the restaurant area. If you like to fish, you can hire a fishing charter, or you can fish next door for free; there is a long, rocky stretch of coastline just outside the resort and the protected marine park that is popular with local fisherman, couples and families, where I have had some luck and a lot of fun. Finally, staff are polite, friendly, and helpful. Recommended.

It was average nothing special. The service was average maybe a little bit lower than average. I would say the maid service was very poor. The food you will have some good days and some bad days. The weather was bad and we still had to eat outside for all inclusive and most people were in their winter coats. Complain to management along with several other families but they did nothing.

The room was clean. The hotel has nice amenities. Yesi, Suni, Pepe and Juanita did a good job trying to engage people in activities. They were lots of fun! The servers all were helpful and attentive to us including Arturo, Manuel, Valentin, & Juanito. The only complaint was food at times was lacking. Some alcoholic drinks were not very good, poorer quality alcohol. Lastly, the air fresheners in halls and bathrooms was way too powerful. Just unplug them or turn them way down. Thank you for a nice stay!

The food at resort was really bad, not hot, keep running out ot things. Salad bar with no lettuce. Pizza and Pasta night with no pizza. Half the time you did not know what you were eating. Breakfast with no oatmeal. Food just did not taste good.

The resort is in a great location—very close to shops, attractions, and nightlife. It’s also super convenient to get around using bikes, and there are plenty of options to rent scooters and jeeps, which made exploring easy and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the customer service seriously took away from the experience. The waitstaff, especially at the pool bar, were consistently rude and inattentive. Getting drink refills required asking multiple times, and even placing a food order was a hassle. On one occasion, we ordered food at the pool and waited for a long time. When my husband finally flagged down the waiter to ask about our order, she caught an attitude and told us we never ordered. We reminded her that we did and that she had written it down. Eventually, she returned with only half of our food. When we asked about the fries that were missing, she told us there were no fries left and that they were closing in 10 minutes. No apology, no effort to make it right. Staffing seems to be a major issue, particularly in the pool area. They should hire more employees to better accommodate guests, as the current setup clearly isn’t working. We also had issues with basic room service. We called the lobby to request face towels, but they never arrived. I ultimately had to go down to the lobby myself to ask for them. Overall, while the location and transportation options are a big plus, the poor customer service and lack of responsiveness make it hard to recommend this resort.

Room was clean, staff always happy and helpful. Buffet is small but always found something to eat. Fresh made omelets every morning. Convenient location and close to 7-11 and Chudraui. Easy to get taxi at taxi spot in parking lot. Very relaxed atmosphere. Would stay again.

Everyone was very friendly and made sure we had a great experience staying at this Hotel and Resort . Conveniently very good with all the amenities and away from noisy spots .

First room had a strong smell. But the staff worked with us to get relocated to another room Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of food choices.
