The room air conditioner was not cool. The staff said that we had to wait 30 minutes before calling the technician. After 30 minutes, the staff said that the technician was climbing a tree. 😩 When the technician came to check, he said that he would need to repair for 30 minutes to 1 hour. So I called to change the room because it was too hot. I told the staff that I could change to a room that was cool when I entered because I thought that was a basic service that we should receive. The staff said that our room was not a 5-star hotel. We could not enter and it was cool when we entered. 🙄
In the morning, I called to order breakfast from the menu that appeared in the room. The staff said that we could not order yet. We could order from 11 am onwards. We asked if we could go downstairs to buy and eat. The staff said that we had to make a reservation and wait 30 minutes before we could eat (another 30 minutes).
Overall, I would like to improve the following:
1) Location: The hotel air conditioner should be cool when you enter. This is a basic service that should be received from a hotel.
2) The staff's attitude and communication method. I felt that I was being teased the whole time during the conversation, even though I was a customer who paid for the room. I would like the hotel to review the way they train their staff in communication.
3) Enthusiasm and speed in solving problems. You can't solve every problem in 30 minutes - 1 hour, for example, the technician is climbing a tree 😑 and the customer has to wait for you to finish climbing the tree before coming to fix the air conditioner or ask to change the room because the technician hasn't proofread yet. Is that right?
Other than that, the facilities are quite good. But when encountering this, no matter how good it is, it's very annoying. Especially when bringing parents with you, I don't want them to wait in the heat for 30 minutes.
I hope the hotel will fix this.
