What a view. What excellent food

The room were clean and renovated where i stayed. The amenities such as the pool and jacuzzi need maintenance. There is no Karaoke or night activities. The staff were rude and unwelcoming except for housekeeping. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for sleeping and relaxing or dipping yourself in the river. Bring water shoes and a life vest.

Had the best time here! The staff was friendly and but front desk was a bit rude. The views are amazing love it will come back!

My experience with Gran Jimenoa was good , when we got there, we wait for a good 5 minutes to be able to see somebody at the front desk , no one was at the entrance greeting us, after a quick check in , a guy took us to our room, the TV was not working, but we were surrounding by a beautiful creation, well care environment. The morning coffee was amazing, the breakfast was Tradicional Dominican breakfast, it was good , fresh fruits. We really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

There is no heat in the rooms only cold air.. the pool wasn't functioning properly.. there's no activity to do. The location is deep inside on top of a mountain THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO.. NOTHING CLOSE BY.

Property is breathtaking. Beautiful river and facilities. The restaurant food and breakfast was very good. Parking is very close and convenient on property grounds. Staff was friendly and I had my laundry done after a day of riding ATV's. We did request to change rooms because the bathroom flooded when we took shower but they had no problem with moving us. They told us that the wing we stayed in was going to undergo a complete renovation in the coming weeks. If I had to criticize one thing I would say that they probably should not have offered us the original room in the first place being that they admitted that the bathroom had a problem and it was not peak season so there were many rooms available that they could have given us.

The hotel doesn't accept pets. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was superb ! Jacuzzi was not properly maintained and disgusting. Location of the property is marvelous.

The grounds are beautiful. The staff very friendly. The rooms up to date wirh a great view. Hottub nice and hot. The pool was dirty and had no filter running. No one used it. Worst part is we all got horrible food poisoning. Vomiting and worse. Lasted over a day. One of us sought medical attention after we checked out. Mentioned it at the desk. Got a compassionate apology but clearly the message was not going to get passed on to the chef. Dont eat the "ceviche" which was just raw fish - CLEARLY not soaked in lime juice. Chatgpt said based on our symptoms it was likely rice left out and possibly the ceviche or pichana - dont ask for medium rare unless you want purple. Besides the negatives it is quite beautiful and special.
