Great place

This reservation was made to visit with a friend who was attending the same rabbit show that I was attending. At the last moment, I had a medical emergency that prevented my attendance, but my friend was still going. When she showed up to check in, a black man wearing a mask was very rude to her and wouldn't allow her to check in. No call was made to the number on file. No message was sent to me (since I made the reservation). But my friend was treated so badly that she had to find a room elsewhere. I was embarrassed and angry to learn that she had been treated so poorly. I'm not just angry and embarrassed, but I'm absolutely shocked to have a hotel chain that I frequently use disappoint me so terribly. I was charged for a room that no one even got to utilize. I sincerely hope that charge for one night was worth destroying a customer relationship. I will never darken the doorstep of a Red Roof hotel again. Disgraceful.

I never checked in. It was cringe & unsafe.

The staff at reception; they couldnt do enough for us. We did have an issue with the cleaner, that did not get resolved, hence the missing star. The room was a standard room, not the ritz, but you get what you pay for. It suited our budget and we would definitely go back...purely because of how friendly the staff and other occupants were. Just be prepared not to expect daily housekeeping...this is supposed to happen once per week. However, we did not receive this despite being on the rota. The person on shift to clean our room did enter our room...but it wasnt cleaning that they did. Moving swiftly on...we had a great time. But for those that drive, I suggest hiring a car, as you cant get anywhere on foot from here. We survived on the use of Lyft...which isnt too expensive but it does add up. We wished we had hired a car for convenience. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here. So if you're looking for something on a very tight budget, this would work for you.

No clean room ,trash in the floor,under bed ,no toilet paper ,I can’t look door because the card no working , keep open 2 days!!

The people were nice, but the room was horrible conditions and smelled so bad. I did not get good sleep at all, did not feel comfortable.

We stayed for 2 night and was only provided two towels. We had 4 guests in our room. And when we asked for more we were told we are only allowed 2 for the whole visit.

Management were terrible

Horrible. There were roaches, dirty sheets, bad odor, no toliet paper, no shower curtain, and once we got the shower curtain the bathroom flooded. The after hours person came in smelling like weed and was no help. Had to leave and change hotels. Was supposed to be there for 3 days, only stayed one. Manager refuses to refund me the money, only one day. Rude manager. Never again.

The closet door handle came off in my hand, the kitchen cabinets were hanging on with only one hinge, there no toilet paper in room, no phone to call service desk, and the room had a very strong smell of bleach.

The room smells like cigarettes... the area around the hotel its horrible and the have construction right on front of the building and you can't sleep with the noise ... we will definitely come back to covington because we love it but we will definitely stay in another hotel ...

Breakfast was NOT included. But for the price I guess you get what you pay for.

We found multiple roaches, beds didn’t have clean linens. When a worker came, she admitted they were infested with roaches!!! We had to find another hotel last minute, and they’re making it difficult to get a refund.

blankets with holes in them, broken lock. windows that won’t open. the place smelled like cigarettes and the bed had stains on them. horrible place and feels unsafe. never go here
