A really well positioned hotel for Alderley Edge and surrounding area. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast options and quality of food was very good. The only thing that let our stay down and the reason for 3 stars was the rooms. They were very tired and could have been better maintained - scuffs on walls, dripping tap, toilet that didn’t flush properly and untidy sealant in bathroom. We also asked the cleaner to re-clean the room as there was dust and a cobweb which was done without fuss or delay. If they would just spruce up the rooms this would be a great hotel and worthy of 4 or 5 stars.

A dated hotel that has been quite well maintained, despite it's age. Elevator was an issue, thankfully we didn't have too many heavy bags with us. An olde world bar/restaurant hotel, with plenty of FREE parking, and within easy walking distance of the village.

A very old building and on a main road. It was very clean but obv a bit of road dust get in through open windows. Nothing that bothered us. The staff very attentive, polite and extremely friendly and welcoming. Didn't have breakfast but enjoyed our drinks in the bar before moving to the venue that we were there for. The hotel is in an ideal location for Alderley Edge Village. Our room had everything it needed. Only thing I would suggest is new thick softer pillows and maybe led lights near the mirrors. Hard to put make up on in dim lighting ☹️ Overall a great hotel and will definitely be returning soon! Decent car park with plenty of spaces.

I stay here 3 times a year on business. The staff are friendly and the bar/ restaurant area is pleasant with good food. Unfortunately the rooms themselves are poorly maintained and in need of a lot of TLC. Layouts are quite random too!

Good value hotel, rooms a little dated but clean. Free parking and good sized car park. A few minutes walk to some other bars and restaurants. A great little village with coffee bars, supermarket etc. A great stopover for manchester airport. Definitely worth a visit.

Great location - Great Hotel. Fantastic for overnight before airport flight etc. Will use again. Dropped a star as room decor was a bit tired. Discoloured tiles etc in bathroom but it was fine.

Room was very very tired. Strong smell of air freshener hiding something. Bathroom tiny, bath panel hanging off. Lift is a disgrace, don’t know how it passes health and safety standards.
