We enjoyed being in the center of this charming Grafrather marketplace. We were upgraded to a lovely room and the breakfast was excellent though they charged us 6 euros additionally for "breakfast beverages" when only regular coffee and juices were served. Would be better to just increase the breakfast price and have it include the beverages. We could have used hooks in the bathroom for clothing, etc. but otherwise a very comfortable room and stay.

I was on a business and vacation trip and the place was perfect! The breakfast was delicious, I learned that the bread is prepared right there! You have to try it! The staff was very amicable, especially the staff at breakfast, they were really nice and always caring.

I stay here frequently for business travel. The staff is awesome, the rooms are clean, the area has really good restaurants, and the local people are wonderful.

Located on historic little town with cobblestones streets. Most important, amazing staff.

The WiFi did not work in the room and almost not in the lobby also. As a business traveller this was very inconvenient

Fantastic place to stay in Solingen, in a beautiful village with town square. Cafes and restaurants nearby. Comfortable room with recently renovated bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Close to a beautiful walk through parkland.

Gräfrather Hof is situated in a nice and quaint part of Solingen with many interesting restaurants in this area incidentally they all belong to the hotel I believe. There is no airconditioning so the rooms can be stuffy in summer. They offer a nice breakfast but somehow it feels the hotel takes business for granted and they need not try to be hospitable.

Great stay

Great location, clean rooms and nice shower. Was there during a hot spell so the lack of air conditioning made it a bit difficult to sleep, and my room was right over the street which made it loud to have the window open.

Need better lighting around the bathroom sink. An AC would help to.

The hotel is situated right at a very picturesque old town square. We stayed at the side building next door. Very quiet at night, the road gets busy in the morning. The room was big enough, and spitless. However, the bathroom was the smallest experienced in 40 years of travelling globally. Checkout was very slow, but staff were friendly and helpful in general.

Very good for business travel stay. Ideal location and lovely surroundings. Pity about the receptionist in the morning as the rest of the staff were excellent!
