Excellent hotel! It does been an elevator! Or at least make sure you ask for the ground floor!

We loved our experience in this hotel. The breakfast is very good and the lobby always have coffee, tea, water magazines and hot chocolate available. The hotel is clean and beatiful cabin style. The room has plenty of space with the exception of the bathroom. I had a good time in the pool and jacuzzi while the guests are exploring the areas. The resraurants options around the area are limited. The only restaurant close is a little bit expensive. You need to drive to Lutsen or Silver Bay for more options. The only cons is that is impossible to use the jacuzzi, sauna or pool after 6 pm, its very crowd with multiple kids. Its better to use in the morning and noon. The hotel have a nice area in the front to see partial view of the Lake superior. The bed was very comfortable. Its a gas station in the side, convinience for every needs. I would love to repeat the experience. We love to explore the surroundings cascade park etc.

Time to invest in Landscaping and drainage to the rear of the property before it floods & is full of mold. Change out the bed frames.. They comfy and squeaky.

Overall great place.

The staff was friendly but the second day found out we were double charged for the room so the rest of our stay my account was negative. If I didn't have cash with we would have needed to go home.

I really enjoyed all the little seating areas that we could use to sit and enjoy a game, or a cup of coffee outside the room. Everyone was so nice, and I loved that the continental breakfast had oatmeal!

The staff is always so friendly. I really liked the remodeling too. Room is great, thanks.

Close to lutsen mountains

Nice place. Shower drain was really slow.

Have stayed here a few times and always have a good experience. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfy, breakfast spread is good, and pool/hot tub/sauna is a nice perk.

Great room. We got the two bedroom with full kitchen. Nice breakfast. Close to Lutsen Mtn. Perfect.

nice pool and hot tub and sauna (if theya re up and working) amazing full breakfast coffe, hot chocolate, tea,water out all the time -yippee comfy beds and pillows nice lobby area to talk in, sit by the fireplace, play board games, etc.

We liked the pool area, with the a-frame window wall looking towards the lake/highway. We noticed a couple areas where was some minor damage on the door and wall surfaces. I do hope they get a chance to tidy those up and I would give 5/5 as opposed to the 4/5 I gave in the Property condition & facilities category. All said and done a great place to stay.

This is a nice place to stay for a comfortable bed and a several choices for breakfast. The pool and hot tub area is nice. The pool room needs more ventilation for chlorine smell so might be a problem if you are sensitive to fumes.

Great location for skiing at Lutsen. All the luxuries without the big prices

Sauna was very nice as was the pool. Hot tub was loud when jets were on... made a high pitched noise. Breakfast area was clean and well maintained.

Our room was inconveniently located outside of the common area where it was extremely loud and disruptive. Staff tried to be accommodating but the noise level ruined our stay.
