Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 6-8 July 2026. all ok 1st night hotel is very central and staff were friendly. 2nd night the air conditioning unit developed a leak. I could hear a dripping in the room and by the time I located the drip I discovered it was directly above my suitcase and a pair of shoes were completely soaked. I switched off the air con and the dripping continued at such a rate we could not sleep, also the room was now stiflingly hot. I went down to reception and asked could be moved. the man on reception stated that the hotel was full and that he would come up to the room to see what he could do. I told him the room number and he confirmed that we had turned off the air con as he had a control unit showing our room was switched off, he then stated that he would provide us with something to put in our ears to reduce the noise of the dripping on the floor. I showed him my shoes and he could clearly see they were soaking wet. I waited for him to come uptown the room but he never materialised. as the room was too hot I had a poor night's sleep and ended up getting up and going for a walk at 06.00am. I passed the reception and the man did not acknowledge me. At check out that morning there was a different staff member and I stated what had happened that night, she said her colleague had told her what happened but he could not come up to the room as he did not know our room number. I told her that I had given my room number to him. to be continued

A street festival caused road closures making getting to this hotel nearly impossible. I made the booking when close by and determined getting to the hotel was going to be difficult and messaged them To please help me cancel. To date, some 3 days later, they’ve never even responded. Lots of lost money for a room I never slept but very much wanted to access. Spend 3 hours after that finding somewhere and Expedia can see double bookings for that same date range. Frustrating

Excellent hotel in perfect location with a great breakfast. Bar was exceptional as well.

Central location. Parking on the street is okay but meter only accepts 3 hours of parking each time. Hotel is spotless and comfortable.

Place was a little difficult to find but once there the parking was secure garage for a cost. Small garage so limited parking they was parking on the street but first in first served. They do not have a restaurant and the staff said there was plenty of restaurant around. Must admit the first person who checked us in was not overly helpful but all the other staff were amazing. He might have been having a bad day. The Brasserie a 3 minute walk away was great and well worth it. It belongs to another hotel and is open all day for food and drink. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Small room but clean and lovely view. Bed and plllows comfortable. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast good, the usual hotel type in Europe. Great location. Would definitely recommend

Our room was spacious and very pleasant overlooking a quiet cobbled street. It was right across from a medieval church and made the perfect backdrop for our stay. My only disappointment was having very large thick foam rubber pillows and not the usual two softer ones hotels usually use.

This was a lovely building in the old town and moments away from one of the main sights, Jean Coeur Palace. Reception was very helpful about parking, and taking our luggage while we explored the old town, having arrived at lunchtime.

Be brave driving carefully into the old town to reach this excellently situated hotel, where the service and comfort matched the convenience of its central position. Locked garage added further convenience.

Historic building in the center of the old town, some rooms with a distant view of the cathedral. Very convenient for an overnight stay but parking can be an issue. We decided to use the underground car park near the cathedral so not very far. You can drop off outside the hotel and try to park on the road but we chose not to. Everything else as you would expect, good standard overall.

My room was very large with a mini fridge, desk, and 2 chairs and a table with the bathroom in its own area as well so it was very nice. Great ac. Also in a pretty building in a historic square with a lovely fountain out front and within walking distance (5-10 minutes) to all the best sites in Bourges. It is about an 18 minute walk to the train station but it’s flat so was easy. I also rented a car for a day at the station and drove to Sancerre which was fun!

Chic, c’est très beau, la façade est superbe. Chambre propre et confortable, personnel courtois. Parfait pour ma courte visite sur Bourges.

Lovely central hotel. Lovely superior room.

Hôtel was very nice and in a very good location for the town centre. The reception member of staff was very helpful; advising us where to park and providing a smoothie check-in. The hotel is showing some signs of age and could do with a refresh but for a short stay it was very good and we would recommend it.

This is possibly the oldest hotel we have ever stayed in. The outside isn't appealing, but everything inside is new and upgraded.

Great value and location in the center of old town Bourges, comfortable bed and pillows, super nice evening porter gave us great tips on restaurants that were close by, and a nice walk around the center of town. Parking was on the street, but we found a space just a block away. Super close to the amazing cathedral.
