We were warmly greeted by the hosts when we checked in. The bungalow was beautiful and included a wood burning fireplace which was lit for us when we arrived in the evening. We spent a few nights in watching the Olympics on the big screen TV which offered many channels for international viewers. The bedding was soft and king size bed very comfortable. The bathroom was stunning with a rain shower flowing into the jetted tub. The tub would be difficult for disabled guests however. Robes and fluffy towels were a nice amenity. There was no coffee maker in the room, but I believe this was an oversight. A lovely breakfast was provided every morning. Since this is the off season, the spa was not open, however treatments could be booked with advanced notice. The restaurant/kitchen was also closed, but with advance notice I believe a pizza or snacks could be prepared. We requested a cheese plate the evening of check in and the host came to the door with a nice selection. The hosts were exceptional! Very attentive and gracious! They went out of their way to procure bicycles for us which we appreciated. The location of the Inn is in the country, so there were some beautiful back roads to explore. We look toward to a future stay.

My stay at this hotel was just what I was expecting after reading the reviews. It is about 15-20 minutes from Punte Del Este city so if you are coming in from Buenos Aires without a car and you need to take a taxi be prepared to pay $1250 UR pesos ($50 US) one way. I was not expecting that, but once I got there it was well worth the trip. The service was spectacular and room was elegant. The room was very large with just enough amenities. I took a bike ride (the bikes are free to use) through the mountains along the lakeside and it was great to be surrounded by nature with complete and utter silence (besides the sound of birds chirping). After my bike ride I enjoyed a relaxing massage then retreated to my room for a shower and a nap. This place prides itself on wellness and having peace while visiting, so much so, that breakfast doesn’t start until 9am and stops at 12pm. It feels good to wake up from a nice restful sleep at a late hour and enjoy a nice hot breakfast. They offer the typical breakfast including eggs, bread, jam, cheese, yogurt and cereal along with coffee and orange juice. They are still doing some work around the property, but the rooms are nice and the service is outstanding. I would definitely stay there again to escape the city.
