Nice rooms helpful staff good English Some restaurant staff were not good. AC was a little confusing

Vintage hotel, perfect clean and staff was awesome.

The room was small but comfortable. The staff was 100 stars. They went out of their way to help and saved us from a $5,000 scam!!

I was very pleased with this hotel. I originally booked another hotel and when i arrived to vina del mar, they said that they did not have the rasvervation. Expedia was excellent with upgrading me to the Gala hotel at no extra charge. The hotel was walking distance to the Vina del Mar music festival and also offered sea views from the room as well as a jacuzzzi tub that I didn't get the opportunity to take advantage of. There was staff at the front desk that were bilingual and they provided me with an iron. The hotel and room was clean, breakfast was included and the room was soacious with a separate sitting area. The only area for improvement would be the decor. The hotel is older and as such the decor is dated but no complaints otherwise.

The hotel was in a deplorable condition: old, stained walls and carpets, peeling painting, old furniture, breakfast was not of good quality, old closet with door that did not open. Guests were addressed in writing as "passengers" !!?? A/c was powerful and room spacious, though.

Great location and nice views but thats it. I wish i had thoroughly read past reviews. The carpet in the room was disgusting, the drapes were old and woren out.the tv remote was woren out too, could hardly read the numbers. The staff were good and did thier best but this hotel is old and outdated. My advice is look for another hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, you can walk everywhere. Nearby streets have great places to eat (places with daily menus), drink (nice bars with sidewalk seating), shop, or grab coffee and a muffin. The hotel is somewhat dated, but the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Horrible customer service horrible layout of rooms.

Very outdated hotel without a/c unit. Hard to connect WiFi without US-style outlets to charge your phones etc. Bad service, unable to bring friend/guest to your room although you paid for “room for two”.

The hotel has two buildings. The one we got has no elevator. Our room was first assigned at 15th floor. We had to take elevator to 12th floor from the other building and walk down a corridor to our building and then down to 10th floor and then climb up to our room. The staff there spoke little English. After some hand and Google Translator communication, we were assigned to a room in the building that had elevator by paying $20 extra. I had poor sleep due to traffic noise all night. The breakfast was good. There was Internet. The location was good.

I first stayed in this hotel when it opened in the early 90's and it used to be one of the better hotels in Vina del Mar. It has however had little investment in the last 25 years and is sorely in need of refurbishment. The rooms, however, are clean and comfortable but lack character and the creature comforts such as tea & coffee making facilities. The restaurant had a good menu, but is over priced, and the food is good.

Hotel staff is nice and the place is pretty clean. The continental breakfast is terrible. Waking distance to the stores and some bars.

Were coming fromage Argentina where hospitalité sèmes better. Great to be on the Bach.

Overall the stay was very pleasant. The staff was exceptional! TV was outdated and window was broken though.

En general bien, es un hotel viejo, al parecer está en renovación. Personal amable. Tienen un restaurante decentecon juegos y billar. Es adecuado. El desayuno nada mal. Sin embargo la televisión no funcionaba adecuadamente, no se veía bien, no pudimos ver un partido que se quería ver porque no funcionaba
