Great hotel! I would definitely go back

El desayuno es excelente

So impressed just walking in through the jungle foliage. Staff had friendly greetings throughout our stay. La Troja Restaurant did not disappoint. They have a beautiful pool area. Live music on Thursday night and a delicious breakfast was included in the morning. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Next time we’re in San Isidro we will be staying at Hotel Del Sur.

We really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return

Came back for one last night before leaving for home. Flight was very late and the staff didn't give us any trouble about hanging by the pool after we had checked out. Plenty of parking and close to front door of hotel.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was hugely accommodating especially in the restaurant. Pool was nice and large but needs quite a lot of tile repair. Lots of games and play areas on the property. Music on weekends was VERY LOUD and went on until 1:30 a.m. I thought the band was in my bedroom. Had several meals in the restaurant. The service was quite slow but the food was good.

It’s an older property with a facelift. The worst part of the experience was Mónica in reception. She was dismissive with a smile, took her time at everything.

All good! Had a greaf time in a great room and the dinner was excellent!

Wonderful staff!!

We stayed on Valentine’s Day and scored reservations for a delicious dinner while a beautiful singer serenaded us. It was perfect. They had a photo station set up. Afterwards we walked the property and enjoyed the beautiful night and pretty gardens. Will definitely be staying here again.

Excellent place and service

This was our second stay at this hotel. I was prepared to give this hotel a high rating with only a few minor annoyances. However, on our last night they had a very loud band or DJ playing at the open air bar from 7 pm to 1 am. It was incredibly loud. I complained at check out and they said that they had a notice on their site that there was music on Thursday nights. I asked how they would have responded if I had played music at that volume in my room. This was not music. It was F@*KING MUSIC! WE WILL NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

The staff is wonderful; kind, accommodating, fun, helpful! The breakfast is amazing. The location is perfect for many things. The oldest rooms could use some work, but are as advertised. Highest recommendation for this hotel!
