This hotel was perfect for our needs, room modern and clean, good food choices and friendly staff, would definitely recommend

We had a great time with the kids. Food was good, water pools were great. Not too busy.

This place was nice modern spacious food some good some not so good was cold by the pool bar and complain but at least they listened and treated to a speciality meal after

Overall the staff were friendly... the cleaners should be topping up toilet rolls on a daily basis though there should be atleast 2 per day in the bathroom. As in they should be two in the bathroom overall. And top up if needed. I felt that the main reception and common area should be cleaned before 7am not furing as breakfast is served then and some people come and eat at this time. Otherwise overall was good sometimes though the waterpark would close 30-40 mins early then the time. But overall good hotel maybe 3.5 star hotel would rate it. Entertainment though wasnt great quite repetitive with bingo every night .

There is everything for family

I would split my review in to 2: Hotel and family room. Hotel - The staf, the service, the water park, the entertainment, the location and the outside area are all great and exceed my expectations. Family room (504) - The room was designed strange, the kids in a hall near the exit door with no sperated door to the rest of the room, the bathroom and toilet in the middle of the room with gray glass doors which not give real privacy and in the last part the parents hall. The metrics was not comfortable, the cleaning staff didn't come every day and the location of the room was behind the kitchen so deep frying smell was always in the air. To summerize: In total my family enjoyed the vacation and the hotel it could have been even better if the room was different.

sun palace staff from the front desk to the dining staff and the housekeeping staff were all great! staff worked very hard to provide guests a good experience. The property itself needs an upgrade and several repairs need to be made. The cost of the resort and the all-inclusive status make it work for all income levels and guests traveling with children. we enjoyed our holiday very much and utilized the bus stop right across the street from the resort to go into Rhodes town and to go to Lindo's. my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay as well as both of our birthday's. We enjoyed the island very much. The front desk staff had a bottle of wine and fruit in our room for our 25th wedding anniversary which was a very nice touch.

Mixed thoughts on this Hotel - Some great aspects , some awful ! The Good The waterslides and waterslide restaurant Great variety of slides that kept all of us happy Although the food was quite similar day to day in the waterslide restaurant, it was nice salads and chicken/skewers plus there is a beer tap to help yourself The kids used to go off and look after themselves The main pool is also good although the sun loungers are in varying states of brokenness ! The animation team are excellent, entertainment was great and the fact the kids wanted to go each night plus werent on their devices said alot ! The bad ! The main restaurant for dinner and lunch is awful , you arent allowed to sit outside so it becomes so noisy that you cant hear across the table, there is a constant clatter of plates and cutlery from the staff cleaning away The food isnt bad but very bland in terms of flavor You can sit outside for breakfast which is great. After the first day we ate dinner out and lunch at the waterslide restaurant or went out The ala carte greek restaurant is so bad ! limited menu, fish dish that a cat would refuse, no choice for the kids to try greek food, just pizza, nuggets and chips The AI spirits are awful as well - The wine is tolerable ! The rooms are not cleaned properly, all they do is a bit of a mop and change towels/sheets - I had to ask 4 times before the shower gel / soap was refilled in the room The mattress is very old and you can feel the springs !

Overall satisfaction is medium, the room that we received was very small for 4 persons, the food wasn’t variable . For kids everything was ok. The variety of alcohol is very poor and from local production . The pools are very good as well water park.

Very kind and helpful staff. Quite an old room, full of ants and insects everywhere. The cleanliness is not at a high level at all. The water park was excellent. Regarding the dining room, we didn't eat there but there was a large selection

It is more like 3 star hotel. Quite poor and low quality. Rooms are dated and small. The food is not really good. Thin doors so you can hear everything from the hall even talking. The only nice part is the water park. If you don’t care about everything else it may be good for you. Not good for couples but mainly for families with small kids. It was quite cheap so it is good value. Dont expect too much quality.

You can hear everyone in the room next to you , in the corridor familes are shouting, always dirty, rooms are old and amenities are old. Only good is the staff, they are super nice

My family of 5 (kids are tweens) enjoyed the amenities of the property. The water park, the pools & the activities offered many things to keep us all busy and happy. The buffet was good with typical buffet food. Lots of European tourists, we were the only Americans and I was surprised how few Greeks were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a bus to Lindos and it was a beautiful beach and a wonderful experience- I definitely recommend going there. Overall the resort felt like we were more at a resort in Mexico than Greece- which isn’t a bad thing just not a very Greek experience for guests that are Greek/American.

Amazing

This was the eleventh time I have been to Sun Palace Hotel. Of course there are changes but nothing detracted from our enjoyment. The receptionist informed us that the staff wear masks so we don’t have to so we felt safe but not restricted. Another amazing stay and we can’t wait to return next year.

Great hotel, with a great water park and ideal location. Breakfast & Lunch was good but evening means we’re hit & miss. Also queuing was a bit of a nightmare but this was primarily down to COVID-19 restrictions. The only down side was the all inclusive drinks. The beer and spirits weren’t up to standard so must people would pop to the local shop and buy their own. Apart from that, all of the staff we’re excellent and I would definitely visit again.
