We enjoyed our stay very much. The lodges are pleasant and there are good facilities and a good restaurant. We felt some things could be improved such as a rug for the chairs to minimise the scraping noise from other lodges, which can be quite grating. The outdoor pool was only warm enough on our final day.

Log top, clim , propre accessible, comfortable, terrase top. Merci

This was the 2nd ( and probably last ) time we stayed at Domaine. The 2 bedroom cabins are quite nice, cleaned daily (including a mop of all floors) and restocked. The family pool is small ( about 20 metres) but quiet in early July, so no problems getting space. The fancier pool is for adults only and has a fee for use ( about €20 I think). As we had our children with us it wasn’t really an option to visit. The most disappointing thing was the restaurant, which claims to be open until 2300. We had a long day in cap ferret and pitched up for dinner at 2000, asking if we could quickly shower and come for dinner. We were told this was impossible by the staff. They said they were full for dinner. I counted about 15 empty tables inside and out on the deck, so covers for approximately 30-40. We tried to ask if we could squeeze in - not for us, but for the kids. We got the impression they just couldn’t be bothered. There are limited options for food elsewhere nearby ( as it wasn’t yet high season) so we had to quickly scramble to another place before they shut too. Really disappointing. Overall cap ferret is very nice- Truc Vert beach is fantastic and only 10 minutes drive. L’horizon beach is another 10 mins further on, but then only 5 mins from all the nice restaurants in proper cap ferret. Ther air con in the hotel was ok to good, especially for France.

Never disappoints! The upgrades they’ve made around the property (signage, decor, landscaping) are also very nice.

Lovely little apartment, nice pool and friend staff. Location is a bit further than we had hoped to cycle to the beaches but still beautiful setting. Restaurant nice but a bit expensive for quality.

We enjoyed our stay but were confused with the housekeeping. On arrival we had no washing tablets, liquid, additional rubbish bags. These then appeared on our third day so not sure how often rooms are supposed to be cleaned etc and it was a bit strange for a hotel to have to clear out our own rubbish.

This hotel has rooms in small bungalows with ‘reverse’ air conditioning. And in winter the hot air stays high up in the room while you are in your bed freezing!! Absolutely to avoid. Upseting to spend 100 Euro not to be able to sleep comfortably.

Really relaxing spot. Great spa. Restaurant a bit pricey but good food and wine list and great staff. Great seafood restaurants in local village a short walk away. Worth hiring bikes to get to the coast through forest tracks - avoiding roads which get snarled up at peak times.

The hotel was a brilliant location and provides a great base to explore. The front desk were excellent and helped out with all our requests. Our only disappointment was that the spa pool was a 22 Euro supplement which I hadn’t noticed before arrival. The main pool is small and busy.

Great staff. Great property. However, two things should be noted with this hotel: 1) The pool shown in the picture is of the spa pool, which costs money and is adults only. The other outdoor pool is quite a bit smaller. 2) They only offer housekeeping service every 3rd day, so checking in on a Friday and leaving on a Monday meant that we never got clean towels etc. That said, I would come back. The location, service and staff are fantastic.

Staff was great. The property was lovely and in a great location to tour the area by car or bike. Spa was nice, but the pre-booked treatments were average quality. Biggest complaint for 3 nights was the bed in the room. We left needing more massages - please upgrade for a lux resort.

The description mentioned resort, so I was expecting the hotel to have an access to the sea. It was not the case. I thought as guests of the hotel, we would have free access to the balneo & spa part of the hotel, it was not the case. So I was disappointed on those aspects. Another aspect I was disappointed was the size of the room. Positive points were the balcony and the relaxing view on pine woods.

Unique little hotel with the feel of an upscale summer camp. Excellent service from the front desk, room was tidy and clean upon move-in. Good location in easy driving distance to the nearby villages and about 20 mins drive from Cap Ferret.
