It was my very first time visiting Berastagi. We came along from Jakarta. Ambiance/Facilities: I really enjoyed the ambiance, it was quite cold, and I never imagined that a resort inside the jungle is a good idea! Food: We had dinner there, the food was really tasty, so Indonesian. Staff Assistance: The staff were helpful and friendly. Highlights: We had the best view of Toba Lake ever from above! I joined a free yoga session in the morning, so relaxing and refreshing. Price: It was worth every penny. Location: The location is easy to find by map.

Room very dated. Floor not clean, there were few hairs from previous guest. Bed not comfy. Poor soundproofing. All furniture is old. Only the sunrise view was stunning. The whole resort lacks maintenance.

If you want to go on vacation, I suggest not coming to this place. This place is not a vacation location because there is nothing inside 😅 We got pranked.

The views are stunning, the cleanliness is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious and varied, and halal. Highly recommended, and I'm planning a vacation with my child's father and grandfather's extended family during this year's school holidays, hosting a large family event there. Taman Simalem will be there for a few nights.
