Nice, comfy hotel in a great accessible location in Dundee. Really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and had a great night’s sleep. Only detractor to the ground floor double room that we stayed in was a slightly creaky hallway, which let in a bit of noise during the day / morning. This wasn’t an issue at night and didn’t affect the stay much at all! Thanks to the staff for making the stay a comfortable one!

The young man receiving us at arrival was amazing and friendly. The breakfast was stunning, although the staff was more interested to chat to each other than assisting the patrons. The lady at reception when we left was as cold and impersonal as the winter weather outside.

Beautiful hotel. We attended a function in the ballroom and the public areas of the main hotel are all really lovely, clean and comfortable. The room was a little basic but it was clean, comfortable and great value so no complaints there.

Staff were all delightful and very helpful, evening meal delicious and well-presented, our room was a little on the small side but fine for our 1 night. Beautiful sunny outlook at breakfast, we enjoyed the nice variety of hot and cold buffet breakfast, and poached eggs to order. Would stay again.

Room stank intensely of cleaning product, carpet was... concerning in the sense that it didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. Toilet flush ran constantly, super noisy. Floorboards were so loose it sounded like you were in a wooden galleon, could hear people walking around in neighbouring rooms and in the hallway-super when it's kids running up and down from 6am. Can't think of any reason I'd choose to stay here again or any redeeming features apart from the fact it was cheap.

An overnight stay after a wedding at a nearby venue so really just wanted a place to put our heads down but the hotel was and room much nicer than expected. Excellent parking facilities. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the river Tay.

Lovely, comfortable hotel with very pleasant staff.

Enjoyed my stay, room comfortable allthough would benefit from a lick of paint, a few scuffs and marks etc. Room decor flowery and dated. However a lovely new bathroom, lovely older property with nice communal areas and a really nice breakfast, 3 EV chargers and free parking close to the water front and airport. Would definitely book again when in Dundee.

I understand that not all hotel rooms have a fridge: that's why I bring my own cool box. I certainly don't expect the staff to switch it off [and leave it off] when they clean the room. This hotel is convenient for the Hospital/Medical School but [having stayed twice in the past month] it survives only on past glories and repeat non-resident diners. Food is persistently overcooked and oversalted. Service is at best average.

Plenty parking. Nice outlook. Friendly staff. Nice bar/lounge area. Dinner menu plenty choice and generous servings. Good choice at breakfast. Couldn’t fault anything.

The hotel was nice from outside and the lobby staff was friendly. However the rooms were just average. The rooms were clean and spacious, but just that they were old and the upkeep could have been better.
