We stayed 2 nights and our stay was perfect for our needs. It was very close to everything and within 2 min walk to Thamel's main street for all your hiking needs. We walked everywhere from there. Staff were amazing, the heating worked well, comfortable bed but the shower was more warm than hot and the breakfast is quite basic. Overall very satisfied with our stayed.

Really nice staff. Very helpful. So close to shops . Food, money exchange , pharmacies ( where you can buy over the counter medications ) Can be slightly noisy but what else can you expect in busy Kathmandu . Food hotel serve is really good .

This was my second stay at Mandala Boutique and I will never stay anywhere else in KTM. The rooms are clean, big and bright. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is lovely and very attentive, the restaurant yummy, and the location cant be beat. Its on rhe edge od Thamel, so its close to the action, but quiet and lovely.

Room was just ok. Basic. Location is quite hidden. Alley had stray dogs and may be quite scary to walk at night. In my one day stay, i experienced 2 power failures. I had to call reception to turn on the generator. It seems that it is not automatic for them to turn the generator on during power failures.

Rooms are way to small for the price. The hotel staff was not even aware I was coming. You can hear every little noise no privacy. The hotel was hard to find the only acess between the hotel and thamel was down a muddy road.
