Our two queen bed room had the most wonderful view of the canyon. We awoke very morning to a a beautiful view. The room is nothing fancy but was clean with coffee in the room. This is one of the best spots to sleep in the park.

Older place needing renovation but also kind of what you would expect. Perfectly ok though

The location was fantastic. The property was clean but dated, and parking was a challenge

Only downside was check in had no details of our reservation which was a little disconcerting. As we were from the UK we had no internet and the hotel couldn't provide this until check in so it wasn't easy to find a copy of our booking proof.

Can’t fault the location or the view, stunning. Room was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Downsides, had to park about half a mile away, the bed was not comfortable and the bathroom could be helped with some modernisation. Was just there for a night though so on balance was an enjoyable stay.

Location next to canyon rim was amazing. Retro vibe building and rooms. Comfortable accommodations.

location is amazing, it's an older property with few amenities and certainly not cheap, but being right on the rim of the grand canyon made it worth it for us, the trailhead for Bright Angel trail is just steps away, super convenient

Clean and good

Convenient, but not enough parking lots available.

This is truly a unique place to stay and enjoy the beauty of the Grand Canyon. The Bright Angel lodge next door offers dining options both late and early. We loved all the small touches like specialized tile in the shower featuring Grand Canyon wildlife.

Perfect location

Excellent accessible room for persons with mobility challenges accessible parking available with ramp to entrance that is not so easy but do able.

The property is managed by hotel management property and check in is at the Angel hotel next-door. State was great, rooms updated, the entire property very clean. It is literally right on the cliff of the Grand Canyon. Only she was parking, but everyone has parking problems within the park.

It is 100 steps to the grand canyon.

Loved the view and accessibility to many options. Will definitely stay here again!

Surprised how outdated the thunderbird was, considering the price per night & according to notice on the door they command 500/night at some point. Absolutely not handicap or senior friendly. No elevators, numerous stair cases & most require a keycard to pass thru. No drop off parking so you can unload luggage. No microwave & frig did not have freezer section to refreeze ice packs. Expected more considering the room cost

The proximity to the Canyon

Parking was not easy. Walls were thin. Otherwise it was very convenient and clean! Worked out perfectly for 1 night in park.
