Great place to stay for families and right on the edge of the canyon. Beautiful views and a lot of wildlife. Food options were good and good views. Some staff weren’t unkind but just obviously not in the greatest of moods.

Location, location, location!! We were very happy with our location right on the Rim of the Canyon. Our granddaughter loved being able to wake up and see the view and even a big horn walked right by on the Rim walk in front of our window! It was the perfect experience/location!!

Beautiful canyon view from our room and goats grazing right outside the window when we woke up! The room was nice, spacious and had a wonderful location inside the park.

Lodge is more modern and in good shape, but it’s no 3 star. Still, it’s right on the path along the rim and it’s clean enough and nice enough. You can’t beat that and it’s better than staying anywhere in Tusayan. Not that Tusayan is bad, it’s just not right on the rim of the Grand Canyon.

The Kachina Lodge sits on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It has a wonderful room to sit and read, play cards or just look out at the most amazing view. The rooms are well appointed, super clean and very comfortable. You are also right there to see the beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the Grand Canyon.

The rooms are clean and well stocked with clean towels and toiletries. The lady at the front desk (Phyllis) is the nicest lady ever, she is very helpful with things to do. The only challenge is parking. Unless you want to walk for up to 10 minutes, arrive early then parking is a snap. Arrive late and you will be walking uphill for a good bit.

The lodge meets our needs- convenient to the sites we want to see. Parking is first come first serve but there are other lots to park. Staff were professional. No on site dining & shopping. Suggest yo upgrade the towels.

This property is amazing - nothing compares to staying within the park. My only issue was a small complaint about housekeeping. We stayed for three nights: first day no housekeeping at all. Second day, housekeeping replaced cups/coffee. Beds were never made or any attempt to tidy the room. Regardless - it was amazing to stay at the rim!

The Grand Canyon Village is a unique, beautiful area to stay. However, the lodge and room are quite outdated and in serious need for updating.

If you have an opportunity to upgrade to the room with a view of the Grand Canyon do it! We did and it was amazing waking up to sunrise overlooking the canyon.

We were quite tired by the time we reached the hotel. The key card given to us took several tries to work. Then later didn't work. I was given a new set of key cards and they didn't work. We went back to the front desk again and a maintenance worker came back to make sure the cards worked, which they didn't but he then got them to work. It also took me over an hour on the phone to get the wifi to connect. The room was average with an above average price. The bathroom was small with very little counter space. The mini fridge vibrated in its cabinet, especially noticeable at night. The Lodge is dated with no particular charm.
