Check in was convoluted. Went in to a weird private home. Lady was nice and helpful. But many people would be shocked. We were in an adjunct, rundown location 1-2 mile from the check in. The hallways were not pleasant. The exit doorway to outside was left wide open. Room 27 was renovated and okay. Do not rent this location without a car. We did not have a car and figured out the bus system. The hotel is remote.

This is not an Extended Stay hotel, the sign on the building says, “Extended Stays”. This appears to be an old apartment complex turned into a hotel. Had to check in at a totally different location. I smelled weed smoke several times a day. The ‘remodeling’ done was not great and made the place look cheap. I had booked another time at this location but cancelled once I checked in for this visit. Just not impressed.

I’ll never stay here again If I’d have known what I was getting into for a hotel I’d have just stayed in my tent

The only issue I had was one of your housekeepers used their keys to gain access into my room off of lotus 710A. She never nocked just came in to use the bathroom

The property was well used. The beds were uncomfortable. The laundry facilities on the property were filthy! Had many machines, but most were Out of Order!! I would definitely find a laundromat in town.

Rooms had genuine marble floors, and real bedroom furniture. Day bed was a nice touch. Jet tub was wonderful. Outside the facilities needs work. No curb appeal. No elevators. Had to walk up 4 to 5 flights of stairs to get to room woth luggage.

I like that they make little snacks and have coffee available at the office. They were lenient about me having to run to Walgreens to put $ on my card as well. No stress, no mess, just a great stay overall! Thanks!

The outdated rooms in the lodging industry are a systemic issue. Most hotels offer rooms from the 1980s furniture and decor. Pricing is also a major issue, especially in Alaska during the summer when demand is high and properties are scarce. This property was no exception. Great place to stay while you are looking for a more permanent home in Fairbanks or you are associated with UAF temporarily.

Seems like a work in progress. Our window faced the woods and stacks of pallets and the mattresses very soft.

Can I say dump! Its in the middle of a bunch of houses. The office, if thats what you want to call it, is in the foyer of what looks like where the owner lives. Its run down and just nasty looking. Dust everywhere. The actual place we stayed was about a 4th a mile away. If you didnt drive, you had to walk there. I complained about having large luggage, and no car since we flew into Fairbanks. So we were driven in a nasty van. Got to the hotel and it looks so run down on the outside you can only imagine what the inside must look like. No elevator and we're on the 3rd floor! We had to drag all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs! I dont know how a hotel can get away with that. Our room was clean, but everything old. Not what we expected for $170! Dont stay in this dump. Only good thing is its close to the airport.
