Clean room, but disappointing overall. The front desk had no info on local activities, which was frustrating. The restaurant was the biggest letdown — my steak was overcooked, they were out of mashed potatoes, and I was served plain steamed rice instead of the pilaf I ordered. and the cook said it was rice pilaf. The waitress was nice, but the cook clearly needs retraining. Not what I expected from a Best Western.

Wonderful two week stay at this property in Kodiak. Staff was exceptional.

Customer service was amazing. Bathroom sink handle in room needed repair.

Pros: Checking in was smooth (Expedia was only $7 cheaper than the standard hotel rate), and staff was very friendly. Continental Breakfast offered a large variety of items and the staff there was very quick to refill items. Cons: Key cards kept deactivating after several hours. No heat in hotel room and bathroom sink drain wouldn’t open all the way. I have knowledge in home/building maintenance so I was able to turn the heat on by manually opening the zone valve on the baseboard heater (the manual thermostat was not functioning). And I was able to pry open the sink drain just enough to allow water to drain at a medium speed.

Kodiak Inn is always a great launch to your Kodiak adventure. A convenient hotel shuttle runs when AK Airlines flies bringing you and your gear to the hotel. The included breakfast is a great perk as well.

After a bit of a bumpy beginning, the manager quickly moved me to a more suitable room which I appreciated greatly. Their Burger&Brew night was a bargain and my burger was cooked to perfection! The included breakfast was average but on a par with other Best Westerns. Comfortable bed, great location and gave me what I needed!

They could not find the booking. They said they had to have a confirmation number not an itinerary number and we had to make other arrangements

Nice clean room. Heater was not working

Hotel was currently under construction/renovation however, continued to book rooms on floors with no carpet in hallways and construction debris and noise.

Great location. Nice bar and restaurant.
