Amazing property, stayed many places by far best hotel in Thunder Bay

Loved how welcoming and kind the Staff was. As my first visit to thunder bay, they ensured i had a proper experience and had a great scenic view from my room. The restaurant was great, friendly and open staff; very relaxed but also very professional. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Stayed one night. Had dinner at on site restaurant and breakfast following morning.

The walls of this hotel are extremely thin. You can hear everyone in the hallway and in the next rooms. The hvac unit is also extremely loud so if you can sleep with that kind of white noise it does drown out the other noises. I could not. Bfast is included but it’s in the restaurant and not self serve. If you’re in a hurry forget it. I waited over 5 minutes just to be seated - no one came. So I went in search of a coffee elsewhere in the hotel - found a coffee unit in front of registration but no cups. When I asked for one I was told you have to go to the restaurant for coffee - this coffee station is only available until 7 am.

Free breakfast was good and had great selection. Front desk staff was friendly. Our breakfast however did take a while to come out on the second morning and was cold by the time we got it. There was a dog howling on the second morning (possibly thin walls).

Clean, quiet, and excellent service.

We loved everything and everyone who worked there! We loved the amethyst inside and outside. The people at desk that checked us in couldn’t have been more helpful. The waitresses and chef and manager were so nice and helpful. The person that cleaned our room did an excellent job. We enjoyed every minute. You have a great hotel and excellent folks working there. It’s a quiet and serene place with great view of the mountain. Clean and Spacious with friendly staff.

I made reservations via Expedia and got there around 9pm. When I got there they said that the room I had reserved was unfortunately not clean and they had no other two bed rooms available. They had some problems trying to get the system to work but were extremely sympathetic and gave us a suite. Although I ended up sleeping on a couch so that the other person I was travelling with could have the bed, the room itself was excellent. The staff was very accommodating.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great area with beautiful views. It is very clean and smells good in the hallway, which most hotels have weird smells. The beds are really comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant food and service is great. I don’t go in the pool but the sauna and whirlpool were nice. They hand you towels as you enter and I saw an employee test the water of the pool, so I’m sure it is clean too. It was very quiet at night. The only thing I didn’t like was the water pressure of the shower.

Beautiful hotel and drive up options were great. The breakfast is a full menue option and the views are great. Overall a great place to stay with pets!
