Nothing special no elevator

Breakfast was not up to Best Western standards. No orange juice, no yoghurt, no fruit. The halls were not clean. The room itself was great, though.

I was upset that the hot tub wasn't working. Other wise it was alright.

Change the sheets after every guest stay. I found stains on the sheets of one of the queen beds in my room. Simply grossed me out.

Complimentary breakfast was OK but no coffee in the breakfast area. The hotel hallway had a strange offensive smell, can't describe it. No stopper in the bathroom sink. While shaving, a nice sized spider dropped out of nowhere into the sink. An attention getter! The backdoor has a sign that says it is locked after 9 pm, nope! Never locked. I won't stay there on my next trip to Huron.

Room seemed clean. Shower needs repaired. Timer in microwave did not work. Small fridge, no freezer.

Smelled like someone smoked in the room, the sheets were old. The property needs mowed. Asked about dining and walked to a great place the prime time tavern

Unfortunately, this is a sad little place. The beds were comfortable and if felt safe but the property itself was somewhat shabby.

We have stayed here a few times for events at the State Fairgrounds. The rooms are clean but worn and they always seem to have a parking lot full of building materials that never quite make it into the hotel. The rooms are as clean as they can get them, it's just an older hotel. I DO like it when we get a room with an interior and exterior door.

The room felt run-down and neglected. The lamp connected to the light switch at the door had no bulb, and the lamp on the nightstand had blue electrical tape around the base. The television, refrigerator and microwave all were plugged into a six-plug extension which was dangling in the air. We thought that might have overloaded the circuit, creating a fire hazard. There were insufficient electrical outlets in the room, including none at the work desk where guests could plug in computers and phones.

The website says pets stay free but we are being charged $10 at the front desk

Shower water supply line is loose in the wall, and so are the shower curtain rod ends. Pillows are nuts. They're too small. I call them marshmallow pillows. A king size bed with such small pillows is not a recipe for comfort. That constantly flashing light outside the window makes sleeping challenging.

Noisy heater in 3rd room we accepted. First room had broken lamp and another taped lamp and the toilet did not work well. 2nd room when we opened the door either someone was still in it as tv was on, towels were on the floor. Shower curtain in room 108 needs laundered.

There is no way I would bring my family or even go back myself. Very poor condition.

I stay here occasionally. The slamming doors at the inside entries into the hallways slam. It is a rude awakening. These have been like this for several years. Time to repair them. The shower floor doesn't drain all the way. Other than that it is a nice facility.

I had a very nice and convenient stay at the Best Western in Huron, SD. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby amenities. I’d definitely stay here again!!
